Very nice coffee, albeit a bit pricey and there seemed to be a surprisingly long wait for things (the family in front being told it'd be over 15 minutes to get a milkshake). I also thought that it was a odd that they didn't have any toilets on site and instead visitors needed to use the ones at the far side of the car park. Very nice cakes and coffee, as a reward for a stroll up to Castle Rock and back Still a fabulous treasure on The Edge, even though all the refurbs are ongoing and they're serving take-away food. They've made everywhere as pretty and as special as they can and still serving on cute little China plates💕 Gorgeous hot choc and coffee & walnut cake (so excited to be here again that I took a bite before I photographed🤩😜). My friend had a vegan latte and vegan peanut butter & cacao flapjack thing (I had a taste, it was utterly delicious!). Lovely walk, lovely pit stop😍 #thelittlethings Asked for a hot chai latte and it was lukewarm at best, not very pleasant either. £19 for 2 drinks and a bacon roll is a lot too, especially when nothing special. Some dairy free options for sweet treats but nothing particularly tasty- flapjack and protein balls Nice food and drink presented well. Plenty of outside seating. Friendly staff. Just far too expensive. Everything costs double for some reason. £4.50 for a standard (very tiny) smoothie. £7(!) for a bacon&sausage sandwich… and wait for it, £4.50 for a toasted tea cake! Lower your prices. I know it’s a National Trust spot but why rob us? Will bring a picnic next time. Lovely little tearoom near the National Trust Wizard Trail! Prices are fair and they offer a really good product range. Metal plates and paper cups, soup in a paper cup and although they gave me a bread roll with it they said normally they only serve it with sourdough croutons. Only outside seating. Not very welcoming plus they charge 25p for milk in tea and coffee and measure out sugar in pots (although they do have the decency not to charge) Also it’s self clear and expensive for what is basically a picnic for which you have to pay. Also the toilets are at the beginning of the car park so a long walk. The tea room is pretty expensive but for the scenery and the atmosphere its worth it!
