Open entering we could see this cafe had very very few tables. There were about 6 tables. 5 tables tables up by old ladies that were long finished their food and were wanting to chat for a very long time regardless of whoever entered and one table was occupied by just one man lol! We had had to wait un line for 6-7 mins just for one of the girls to take our order and they seemed disorganised and weirdly overpreocupied. When we got out order taken their card machine was not working well, which seemed convenient seeing as they had a sign saying we accept card but prefer cash. Obviously we felt forced to use any cash we had to pay for the order. I asked for green tea and received just regular tea and the wifes order was wrong too. The bathroom and facilities are tired and need modernisation. Beware they will charge you a pound per 8 minutes for a shower. As the toilets are also used by people accessing the marina. You have to ask for the wifi code but only provides a weak signal. The views are lovely and the whole felt very peaceful and quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The pitches are spacious, giving everyone plenty of room to spread . Such a lovely place and location. The only real issues we had was the WiFi was not strong enough to use for watching TV as there is absolutely no TV signal, maybe that was because it is surrounded by trees. Facilities are clean although they are tired and showers not great pressure wise. My Wife and I stayed for four nights in our caravan, very nice stay. The dog loved the walks around the site. The slipway cafe which on is very good, they do a cooked breakfast up to 3pm, their apple and rhubarb tarts are very good as well, We would highly recommend a stay here. Booked caravan c46 on arrival found that we were moved to c45 location met lots of friendly people who helped us alot , truth be known didn't mind the move.but was peeved off when I discovered it would cost one of pound per shower I let a pound do the job as it's a meter ticking away ,I know you think a pound but when you fork out 72 quid for a two night stay. Plus on arrival given no details about the just the location of c45 no information of WiFi pass word or where bins are no dog fouling bins either poor for a council site.
