Love this family run farm! Bargain entry price of £7 per person, under 2s are free. Lovely walks, play park, bouncy castles, indoor and outdoor picnic areas and indoor play area too. Can buy carrots to feed the animals in the cafe or at the entrance hut. Barrel rides available on good days for £1.50/2ish per barrel. Great spot for a family day out. Didn't know this place existed until lately and I have to say it was a great experience. We love this place. We keep coming back! On hot days, the blue lagoon beach is amazing, the kids (and adults) love the cool water to cool down in. Once your finished in the water you can walk around, see some more animals and have a burger or hotdog. We visited in June 2024. Rosepark Farm is situated in a fabulous natural rural setting, and provides great experiences for and adults alike. Owners Seamus and Betty, were so welcoming and helpful. If anyone wandered off Seamus got on his buggy to check it out. If someone needed assistance to get back to the car park Seamus and his buggy appeared again. As a group we enjoyed walking through several pathways with roses and wild plants in abundance. We were lucky as the sun shone, and walking around the paths I spied shelter huts - a great idea for our climate. Great way for the to learn about nature. A herd of deer was visible. The pond area was streaming with wildlife. My favourites - the beautiful black swans! The commotion as the birds sensed that we had food! The wee ones loved handling the small animals ( kittens, rabbits, guinea pigs) . Snakes - we just observed them! Bouncy castles, bikes, zip wire, fairy forest, and all sorts kept the well occupied. We paid an entry fee for the but once inside the facilities were free and that's a real bonus! A burger bar, tea facilities kept us fed and watered. And there's more, I just didn't get to see. A tractor run, in aid of charity, dropped in. The last I saw of the drivers, they were lined up at the burger bar! A fabulous set up. Helpful, friendly staff. Well worth a visit, especially families with children. M Surprised by how good place was... Plenty to see and do, great for day out with kids.
