Mark and five bones are just the best. Even back in the day through Covid he was always open when you had to travel. My dog just loves this place and he’s so happy to get there. We were worried our little rescue dog Beni was going to pine, etc. BUT..... He just walked off with the staff without a backwards glance. It was the first we had left him. We'd only had him for 6 months. We didn't need to worry, I emailed Mark half way through to be reassured he was doing OK, playing and eating, etc, and after 10 days, We collected him (bathed and smelling lovely), excited to see us, of course, but he came back a different, reassured and better dog. It's as if he has found what was missing. He's more responsive to us. If we want a long day out and can't take him, he will be going to doggy day care too, and the next we go away, he will be going back to 5 Bones Hotel for his own little holiday. Thank you 5BonesHotel for taking good care of Beni. To my Dog Scruffy here for a haircut, did a brilliant job. Totally recommended. First for my cat AK A Little Cat. Mark let us just drop in unannounced during opening hours so that we could look around. What a lovely place. He showed us where she would be staying there were a few cats boarding all looked happy. The pens were clean and plenty of space in and out. Collected Little Cat today she is picky at home with food but typical cat she ate their food and even biscuits which she turns her nose up at home. She had not lost any weight and looked happy. She is glad to be home as I think (you never know when you are a cat servant 😏) she missed us. Anita sent me pictures of her while I was away and messages. 10 out of 10 for cleanliness. accomodstion and the way the cats are looked after. I would highly recommend Five Bone Hotel. (think I might go and stay 😁) Thankyou so much Mark Anita and your staff for looking after Little Cat she has not been away from us before but you will be seeing her again Excellent service at Five Bones for boarding for our sheepdog Bryn. Really friendly staff and owners and the place is spotlessly clean. Bryn also had his teeth cleaned and they were sparkly and white. So pleased with the services all round. Thank you It was our first leaving our rescue German Shepherd (Kayah) and Mark, Anita and staff were fantastic. Kayah was relaxed and happy. Anita kindly sent me videos of her enjoying walks which meant that we were relaxed and happy too 😊 Would definitely recommend 👌 We cannot recommend this wonderful business highly enough. We have used them for many years with our various family members. This we were a little concerned as our newbie is an older rescue who hadn’t been in kennels since she has been with us. Of course we shouldn’t have worried she’s been in fantastic hands. Super chilled when we picked her up and Anita even sent us a video of how she was getting on whilst she was with them Thank you Mark, Anita and Louise for looking after our girl. Brilliant service. Koko had her grooming today for the first and she looks fantastic. Anita was attentive, listened carefully to the brief and Koko came out looking very well groomed for the first in a long time.
