A busy and popular Belgium 🇧🇪 bakery so best to get there early if you want to buy bread. We had ☕ and tarts which were tasty and the price was decent. Panaderia La Forneria Belga is a Bakery 🥪 🥖 🥐 and ☕ house 🏠 on the roadside of Vera Playa Shopping 🛍 This time was disappointing to say the least. Prices up and Tostada sizes down by 50% shows that they are cashing in on their success and think people won't notice. But people do notice and mind! 1. Meats and Salmon were tasty. 2. Tostada was stale and half (50%) of previous visits size. 3. Service was helpful & friendly as usual. 4. Value for money 💰 was Poor. Very popular shop come bakery. We had the croissants for breakfast which were absolutely delicious. The staff were helpful and kind. We will be returning. It offers a big improvement on Spanish for northern Europeans but it's not really good. Such a shame. Croissant , rolls and are not up to Belgian or French quality IMHO.You can eat breakfast with a etc. I drove from Mojacar to have breakfast at this bakery after seeing the great reviews. Was not disappointed. The yummiest pastries and great coffee. Really friendly and welcoming staff/service too. This Belgium bakery is by far the best bakery. We have been coming here for over 4 years with nothing less than a perfect experience. The amazing people who work here make you feel like you're visiting family. They have tasty toastadas made how you want. The homemade and pastries are so delicious and the is fantastic. Excellent food. Great tostada, lemon cake.....good and sensible price....worth a visit They also sell artisan to take away. Good pastries. Absolutely horrid service. The place was very busy so I went to order at the counter to speed things up and told them we were sitting at a table. A waiter came to tell us off and accused us of fooling them by ordering at the counter and sitting down, so we would pay less. When I tried to explain that I had told the lady at the cashier that we were sitting at a table and that if there had been a misunderstanding I would be happy to pay the difference, he turned his back to us and walked away. When I called him one more time to explain, he very rudely told me he didn’t have time to hear my explanations and had too many things in his head to care. They also mixed up our coffees with another table and we had to wait for 20 more uncomfortable minutes. We will not be back!!!
