Not a way to treat someone visiting the village. Amazing place and service! The champignons a la plancha are especially recommendable. It's the heart of the town and very authentic. Nice friendly staff, good tapas although the tapas menu was a bit limited. Wonderfully hot chillies served with the Lacon dish I would visit again and recommend Tried different tapas and it was big plates and so delicious !! Recommend mushrooms, sardines, potatoes and ham ones. La Ruta warmly welcomes guests even when others are closed. We had to wait a bit longer than usual to be served, but the staff was always kind and friendly. The food was delicious, and the setting was absolutely beautiful — a classic Spanish town square with a view of the castle. Recommended! The workers helped order a taxi! They were very sweet and welcoming! Good and cheap drinks after a long day of hiking!
