The is so nice to swim in. Interesting area with a pretty high dam and deep blue water. It is used for irrigation and hydroelectric purposes. I wish I could've stayed here forever. I recommemnd wearing shoes as the rocks can hurt your feet. I saw some people kayaking and paddling. Parking is available nearby but you can hike to the site as well. Very easy to get to, as almost motorway to you turn off the main road, and then only a few km left on narrow winding road. Once at the reservoir the road down to the parking are is a bit rocky, but not something that a normal car can’t handle. Once there there is a lot of parking, however, the road access to the reservoir is for official cars only, so we had to walk about 200m to get the paddle boards in the water. Once on the it is a magic place, although there are other reservoirs with more breathtaking scenery. It’s about a 11-12km paddle if you want to go as far as possible. Easy to reach, big parking area. Place for camping is available. Very beautiful views, possible to swim. If you go down to the river, close to Chulilla you will see two amazing old bridges in between two rocks and the river down. Nice mirador is there. You can see caves and rocks. Very hard to go to by car (rocks on the road, steep hills, etc). Water's quite dirty.
