Au Pierrot d'Antan - Boulangerie

Apt, France Bakery

One of the Best Places To Visits in Rustrel Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Everything was perfect. My salad was really delicious and refreshing. More than a bakery. Excellent baguettes and pastries, but also serves lunch, ice cream and drinks. Has a shaded terrace for the hot days. Can get very crowded sometimes, but take-out is also available. Unassuming restaurant in unassuming Luberon village. And yet … really good food! Menu consists of a chalkboard. Plenty of choice. Service slow but the place was full and I had not reserved, so only fair to forgive that. Food arrived promptly once ordered. Did not try the wine list so cannot comment on that. Would definitely recommend if in the area. Excellent baguettes, croissants and sandwiches. We stayed in Rustrel for a week and from our experience visiting, you need to show up fairly early to get there before the croissants run out, but the sandwiches are often not ready until later. We also enjoyed a delicious here, and the icecreams are also great. We've stopped there for a late lunch, the place was totally packed but we were lucky to get in just before they closed orders. Although it's listed as bakery, they are also serving proper meals and I highly recommend trying some. It's more of a culinary journey so allow time to truly appreciate it. Really liked the creativity and flavours, also the attention to details (shows in salads & sides). All this in a casual, effortless setting. Great experience 👌 The best boulangerie for miles around. Fantastic bread, amazing ice cream. Have the chocolate. Stayed in Rustrel for a week and pastries and coffee here every day. Lovely village bakery & restaurant - this place is a hidden gem! Came here in the mornings for coffee, croissant and baguette (delicious), but they also have an excellent menu with some kid-friendly options. Great to-go options as well. We were with a group of cyclists and had a great lunch. Service was exceptionally good.
