This has lots of produce, a meat counter with a butcher and lots of sweet treats to buy. A little disappointed with the pricing and the amount of additives all the cakes/buiscuits had that were from the farm. But lots of options, their local apples tasted amazing and they have also a pet and a picnic area next to their fruit trees. If you're on holiday in the area you might also want an afternoon out with the dog, or be unwilling to leave the dog home alone in an unfamiliar caravan space. Third thing? We were travelling towards Pagham when I came across the at Runcton Shop. cup of tea, delicious hot chocolate and the food was great. Clean, inside and out and staff. Looked like a well stocked and pet too. Ordered a huge platter of sandwiches and scones for a party. Pick up and payment was very easy, and all the food was great. Really happy with the quality and the service. Very good service. Evie was sweet. The all and efficient. Keep hold of your cheft the food was beautiful and hot and tasty. Had to bring half of my fish and chips back home. And the hot chocolate was the best yet. Well done everyone. The two lads at the butchers are absolute gentlemen, I had a chat with them. The two lasses at the cheese counter are babes, very polite and generally happy. There was one middle aged girl who was a bit miserable who tainted our experience of your Lushious cheese and meats. Our 3 year old "who is a bit of a pickle" picked up a fudge bar and jokingly put it in his mouth. My lady who is 8 months pregnant was trying to pay for our £70 shop. Instantly apologized and put the 35p fudge bar back. The unsympathetic hag inhanded the fidge bar to my missus embarrassed her and isistedsisted that we pay for it. I was on my way to the car with a box of the shopping whilst she paid for it. I wish I was there. If I was there, I would have said "if you want me to pay for this fudge bar you can keep the whole shop" Have a day off Karen It's a fudge bar It's 35p 5* customer service would have said "Don't worry about that, I'll throw it in the bin, have a day." We’re always looked after by Karen, Sam, Amber & team - we can't rate them highly enough! The whole experience is fantastic and we couldn’t recommend Runcton more. I can’t thank the enough for their kind help with seating our family together as one member couldn’t use the stairs. They didn’t make us feel like we were putting them out and we enjoyed a meal and drinks. It’s a and I can’t wait to come back! As I forgot to buy potatoes yesterday, Hubby drove us to various shops, which said on Google were open but were actually closed! Almost at the point of giving up, we decided to try just one last shop. Runcton was in the opposite direction to home, and Google said it would be closing in 30 minutes. We arrived, and Yay! The was open. With only 8 minutes till closing, the probably all want to go home, we had a welcome with a smile, and the were very helpful. I was like a kid in a sweet shop. They sold absolutely everything, and as I only wanted potatoes forty pounds later, I picked up a homemade strawberry and apple pie, steak pastie , cheese straws, spring greens, bread, ect, ect, ect, Lovely place, staff. Thank you, Runcton shop. I will definitely go back for another visit . So expensive not impressed. Sent my partner to buy a steak £23 later with 900g of food is a joke. Will not be coming back dont be fooled by this so called food may aswell go to Tesco.
