This place is cheap and cheerful. Friendly and comfortable interior which I can imagine really does catch the sun when it's out. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is inexpensive and we had the fish and chips plus scampi chips and salad. They were both hearty meals well presented. Not gourmet dining or a cosy bar, more of the holiday camp vibe but we thought it was the best along this stretch. Worth a visit and at this time of year one of the few to serve food nightly. Drinks. Food.service and the bingo. a brilliant place. We had a lot of fun. Many thanks. beer, prices, lovely Always visit this pub in Brean, and it's very kid/dog friendly. On a sunny day, just as its name states, it's a sun spot in the garden, it don't half catches the sun ! Love visiting this pub its a must go and visit if your in the area. Nice place for a drink Brilliant place, part of the holiday spirit £500 full house on Usually has bingo, karaoke, singer or sports TV,.none of which appeal to me. However they do have Doombar (on fizz) and a log fire. And they are open during the winter. One of the only places where dogs are welcomed, so don't bother about going anywhere else if you have a dog 😉 place, fab staff. Allows dogs. Second time I've been here, it's a bar, we played which was a laugh and brilliant prizes.. The food was aswell.. Can't wait till the next time.. Only popped on for a sit down and a quick pint. Tried local blackberry cider which was a nice mild flavour and value under £4 . nice indoor and outdoor seating which is all open plan. Dog friendly with a lovely atmosphere. Didn't have any food but prices were decent. food at prices. service is and are pleasant. Lovely place we had the cod and chips and lasagne was lovely and a price at about ten pounds per meal really helpful it does get really busy tho place for drinking reasonable price and lots of choices some live music food and dog friendly First time we've been in and made to feel welcome, the food was outstanding well worth the money Loved the food tasted so fresh , there's also every Monday and Thursday. I love the such a amount of money, but they do take a 15-minute break after each each round of bingo, which is kinda annoying as the kiddies need to sleep , we usually get home around 11 and it starts at 8 !!! That's 3 hours of for only a few flyers . Oh well, it is what it is, I suppose I love the place ! Sweet little pub but not a experience for us today. Sadly the chicken curry was inedible. Me and my daughter both ordered it. I Told the waitress who didn’t do anything about it. Such a shame. The chicken nuggets looked pink inside so my son was a little afraid to eat them. The chips and rice were good. I’d have been thrilled to have been offered something else or a partial refund but nothing. A shame as all were very well priced and I never leave bad reviews but have to say I’m really disappointed. My husband and I have been coming to the sun spot for at least twenty years the atmosphere is ,staff very friendly ,always made very welcome, And the food is delicious ,great value for money. Keep it up, you all do a job. Particularly love the nights. And live music. Used Sunspot for about 12 months, always had nights in there, however tonight has completely changed my opinion and left a very sour taste in my mouth! The bar need to learn how to deal with customers with disabilities, I genuinely could not believe how rude one lady behind the bar was when questioning the age of my 19 year old autistic Son, who has been previously served in there for drinks. I fully agree that age checks are necessary, but when asking for ID, she done everything possible to embarrass my family. Owner is aware of the problem and will hopefully sort out his so others won't have to suffer the sheer disappointment that we have. Why do you have to queue to get a beer, not enough on, nowhere else in Brean do you have to queue, apart from that a ok bar.
