Having had a bad experience at Devon cliffs last year I was nervous about re booking a haven park. Burnham on sea was brilliant!! The accommodation was clean and warm on arrival and beds looked good. The site has had investment and this shows the park is clean tidy and well kept. The staff are friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. The pool is immaculate with regular changing room cleaning and good standard throughout. The club and restaurant is modern and served good food and drink! Thanks to the team for restoring my faith in Haven.. It was ok - we visited in October so perhaps things were a bit tired after the summer season. The caravan was ok but some things were a bit grubby, stained and broken (we realised a wet patch in the main bedroom was from the radiator in the next bedroom). The swimming pool is ok but the flume isn't a medium speed as advertised. My children had to push themselves off the end. If you're not allowed to wear shoes in the changing room then there really needs to be seating in the entrance. Too many people don't bother so it gets filthy very quicky. It's well placed to visit the surrounding area. booked 2 caravans and Haven placed them 1/2 mile apart even though we had a disabled person with us and the park was half empty, not good enough and they would not relocate either van and blamed the system. Oh and then they wild move them for a £80 min fee!!!!! if booking more than one accommodation, consider going elsewhere! Super nice caravan (silver), and nice and quiet when I went so was perfect for me there was a water leak issue while I was on site I had no signal so didn't get the notification till after I left but oh well things happen. Staff were lovely as well Close to the beach and the local surroundings were enjoyable, arcade was a bit dull in comparison to other Haven sites Ive visited but I mainly used it as a base to visit local areas. Train station is a short bus ride away or a 40 ish minute walk depending how quick you go Staff were excellent, especially the lovely maintenence man, who came to sort out the small problems we had. Think Haven should mention when booking at Burnham there is no Internet connection, and all questions or bookings need to be done on the app, which you can't open without Internet!! Had brilliant weekend with husband, daughter and grandchildren. We stayed in Poplar Grove in a silver caravan.On arrival our caravan was immaculate. I have never stayed in a cleaner caravan. In fact, the whole site was well maintained and very clean, even the bar area. No sticky tables or sticky carpets and the staff were super friendly. Enjoyed the entertainment on the Sunday night. Burnham itself looked a bit run down, but if you have a car, Wells cathedral, wookie hole and longleat safari park were well worth a visit. All the staff here are amazing! Going from bartenders, to blue blazers, to the activity people, and the security guards! All very friendly and helpful. The manager of security, Akhmed is absolutely amazing! He is the first to help anyone that needs it… and is the first to make anyone crack a smile… as well as being very busy and professional at his job!! Me and my family have been coming to Burnham-on-Sea Haven for years, and we’ve never had a bad holiday here — it’s always been brilliant! The entertainment is always fun and really interactive for the little ones, which makes such a difference. One thing that really stands out for us is the security team, especially Ahmed. He’s been here every time we’ve visited over the past two years, and he’s honestly amazing at what he does. Always polite, friendly, and up for a laugh, but also very professional and fair. On the rare occasion we’ve had a small issue, Ahmed has sorted it quickly and efficiently. You can tell he really cares about his job and the guests — the site is very lucky to have him. He definitely deserves recognition for his dedication and commitment. We’ll absolutely keep coming back — can’t wait for our next stay!
