Indian Forest

Les Mathes, France Amusement center

Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Loads of tree top trails for all abilities. Excellent fun and value for money. Really great place to visit so much to do. We played laser quest really good value for money. Also played cards etc while waiting to play. Massive play area which is free for the kids. Worth a visit if you are in that area. Loved it. Great day out for adults and kids. Really enjoyed this as a half day out with our 8yo and 2x 6yos. Didn’t book, just turned up and no queues in August. Unlike Go Ape in England, there’s a good selection of parcours, from low routes suitable for very small kids to more difficult. It’s easy to spend a couple of hours on the routes. My boys loved them, our girl is a bit less in to climbing and did one then wanted to do something else, but had a great time on the ‘Sioux Village’ playground. It’s a fair bit of € for a family, but I think decent value. Nice and airy and shady on a hot day (Aug 2022) too. Staff were really helpful and many spoke good English. Kids had a superb few hours following the different courses through the trees. Plenty of instructors to hand, all were multi lingual. A decent play area for younger children to be entertained. Lots of seating scattered around for the unadventurous who kept feet planted on terra firma. Prices were quite reasonable and discounts given depending which campsite you were staying at. Visited with my kids (12 and 13). Excellent instruction (in English). Courses are fun, plenty of people around to help if really needed, but it is all safe. We did 3 courses in our 2.5 hours which was plenty. Highly recommended. Great 3 hours - done the Go Ape version in Sussex and this is a different class but same safety. 10 Coloured routes dependent on height of hands above head - not age; a bit of common sense here though. Black run - for mountaineers - orange for 3 yo and mine did it with her mum who was more scared. We lost the 9 & 11 yo as the place is so big. All under canopy so good for really hot days, we went late morning mid august and it was 'empty'. We even got money off for a voucher on the back of a bakery bag. They do only take cash but they do take bookings so worth dropping in a couple of days before if you are passing near. Staff very helpful and friendly, tea/coffee/ice creams available as you would expect but not a rip off. A fantastic morning scaring yourself and your kids with plenty of tales to tell of daring-do afterwards. Great zip wire and Ballance courses. Several different levels of difficulty - black course is rock hard. Kids had a ball.
