Lovely building in Dumfries, was here for a Scotland Food and Drink event. Stunning establishment in a beautiful setting. Very clean throughout and well run, it also has a Holiday Inn just opposite as you entry the grounds. Been here a few times . Stage is high up and there is a good view and comfortable chairs. Great venue A beautiful red sandstone building steeped in history. Was here for a two day leadership program. The rooms are exceptionally large and spacious. It was very cold outside but snug and warm inside. The coffee and tea station was constantly refreshed. The pastries, sandwiches and soup were all delicious. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Got married here 13 years ago and went back for a visit. Hotel now owned by Holoday Inn. The grounds are stunning and smoke free as is part of hospital trust. History is fantastic and the location is romantic. You won't be dissappointed with this location.
