Great place, the farm with great variety of products fresh meat already seasoned meat. Reasonable prices , good quality of food. Restaurant stuff is super friendly , has a good size menu , delicious food, and drinks. Lovely butcher and small stopped at the cafe for a coffee and Tea tray bake millionaire short cake and plain scone with jam excellent on our way home going to stop and buy some meat from butcher home grown from owners farm and a big selection of cheese and curry sauces and honey and cheese biscuits. All are good prices as was the Cafe. Recommend. Remembered the café had a nice “vibe” but disappointed today. Asked if the Lentil Soup was vegetarian and they were unable to confirm. Chef’s day off apparently. Perhaps not somewhere to go if details matter such as allergies. Opted for the macaroni cheese which was very good but came with chips. I was expecting salad and a look at the menu later said salad or chips. We weren’t given an option. So, not sure we’ll be back. Lovely and friendly cafe. Food is great 👍 This farm is by far one of the best! The butcher and deli counter are amazing. The pork chops and steaks are delicious. The range of meat and quality really is impressive. The packaged meals to cook at home are always in a good deal. They are adventurous and take the hard work out of cooking for you. Coming from Glasgow, we stock our freezer bags to the brim on visits to the in-laws. Highlight of our trip is a visit to this shop. Restaurant and farm get 5 plus stars from me and husband. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Had the best vegan breakfast that we went back and husband had it and I opted for scrambled egg to try. Excellent choice. The ready meals are delicious and tasty that we are going to get some to take home at end of our holiday a big ++++++ from us Every member of staff has been fantastic, friendly and helpful . Food in cafe and was excellent Bought a steak pie and a butchers bag ,it wasn't cheap, cooked everything as suggested. Steak pie was heavily seasoned, as was the chicken, ham and leek dish .it looked very promising but we were disappointed. Very rarely down that area ,won't rush back to the farm shop.
