Great bar with outside space sports WiFi pool tables food and dog The food is basic pub grub, scampi or chicken in a basket, pizzas etc but reasonably priced and hot. Has Sky sports and therefore will be busy especially when Rangers or Celtic are playing but you can always pop over to the Paul Jones if Football is not your thing. Has regular Karaoke slots and bands. Dog with plenty of tables outside where again you can watch sports on the outside TV's. Great child and dog pub. Live music on one night which was ok. Karaoke on the other night. The prices are reasonable. Main complaint would be it’s too bright . You lose the ambient Went here during a pub bus run, although my first time here its a firm favourite with the usual bus run group. Staff and efficient, very clean and although I didn't eat, my friends thoroughly enjoyed what they had. Ill definitely go back on the next bus trip xxx Went for a drink and karaoke as advertised, but there was no entertainment on. This was the letdown. Good service at the bar Cool bar with 2 pool tables and a one off hexagon pool table. Dog friendly, large enough beer garden outside. bar staff. Car park at the side. Excellent, generous portions of variety of food. Good coffee. Very and attentive service.Clean. Dogs allowed indoors which is a bonus. They do a fantastic full breakfast. I visited yesterday, just after 7 p.m., and was really taken aback by the attitude of the front-of-house waitress. She had dark, fuzzy hair and wore glasses—worth mentioning because her behavior left such a strong impression that I feel it’s important management knows exactly who I’m referring to. From the moment we arrived, her demeanor was cold, dismissive, and completely unwelcoming. She made no effort to be polite or professional, and acted as if serving us was an inconvenience. We were informed—without so much as an apology—that the kitchen had already stopped serving food at 7 p.m., which seemed unusually early. Instead of offering an explanation or even a polite response, she delivered the message with visible irritation and an overall attitude of indifference. We came ready to spend money and enjoy a pleasant evening out. Instead, we were met with eye-rolls, curt responses, and an atmosphere that made us feel like we weren’t wanted there at all. A front-of-house role is about setting the tone and making guests feel welcome—this experience did the opposite. I genuinely hope this feedback is taken seriously, because customers deserve to be treated with respect, not hostility.
