This is a real pub with a atmosphere and friendly service. The food was very good too, and reasonably priced, making for a evening. I went to stay in Southerness for a few days on the caravan park with my mum and our dogs. We ate here every day, you can take your dogs inside. The food was lovely. Enough choice and tasted great. Very reasonable in terms of price. Drinks were plenty to choose from and again reasonable in terms of price. It’s got a pool table too. Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. It saved us cooking and washing up too, so added bonus. Very nice little pub nice choice of ales, the staff were very nice. The landlord/ manager was spot on. Lovely location. Brilliant food at a reasonable price 3 main meals 2 kids meals 1.5 pints of larger and 3 cans of pop £65 good portion sizes. 4 stars instead of 5 as we could only sit in one area as we have under 18's. food and very friendly staff. Didn't stay there but had a few, make that a lot of drinks,and about four meals that were all excellent value for the money. All in all very happy Had a pub lunch, was beautiful! Really tasty and a lot of good options to choose from! Ordered the plain cheeseburger, which came with fries and onion rings! Absolutely delicious! Really great service, a friendly, welcoming and cosy atmosphere to sit into. Clean and well kept, will be coming again! And dog friendly!!
