Great place to visit. Its an old schoold ice parlor and we loved it! Worth a visit. Came at lunchtime on a Sunday. It was very busy and all the tables inside were full, but quite a few people were either just sitting and eating ice or queuing for ice cream, so it didn't take too long for a couple of tables to become free. We had soup for lunch as wanted to leave space for ice cream. The lentil soup was very tasty. Lots and lots of ice flavours made it hard to choose. Having a knickerbocker glory was a good choice as got to have scoops of 3 different flavours of ice cream. All were good. Plenty of parking spaces, lots of picnic tables outside for warm weather and the play area seemed to be very popular. Really tasty ice-cream and friendly staff. Good stop off point for the drive home. Very popular ice farm, great for kids. Also serves a nice range of savoury treats and very good coffee. Only down side were the ice crystals in ice-cream indicating poor storage Best ice we have hadbfor a long time portions are generous. Single scoup is plenty. Try the chocolate waffle cones. Great place, loads of flavours prices are decent. Its tucked away from everything so driving is best but definitely worth it! A park for the kids while you have a wonderful cuppa & enjoy some yummy ice cream I went with my family inc 2 6yr olds & spent less than £50 on 3 sundes, 2kids cones, 2coffees, deluxe hot chocolate & 2juice cartons. We'll all be going back Had to visit Drmmuir Farm for a lovely ice cream. I had a bueno Sundae , and my husband got a caramel sundae. My daughter is vegan, so I tried the new chocolate ice amazing. When you taste the chocolate, it tastes like a mouse texture and not too rich. Lovely. She also had the non dairy vanilla, too. We had the privilege to try it first as he only done the chocolate for the first time, and I would definitely recommend it. They also lemon and Lime sorbet. Staff are very helpful and service top. Gluten free bread and rolls available. Best of all gluten free ice and cones also stocked. Ice is delicious. Large variety available. The staff are also helpful and cheerful. I highly recommend.
