Für eine Nacht habe ich im Hotel H41 in Gundelfingen eingecheckt - im Rahmen einer Geschäftsreise. Ich wurde sehr nett, freundlich und zuvorkommend durch den Eigentümer begrüßt. Der Check-In verlief absolut reibungslos und schnell. Das Zimmer war groß und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Hervorzuheben ist das moderne Badezimmer und der Balkon mit toller Aussicht. Im Zimmer ist ein Wasserkocher und es stehen Tee und Kaffee zur Verfügung - sehr schön. Ich habe mich wohl gefühlt und gut geschlafen. Frühstück war in Ordnung und für mich ausreichend. Grundsätzlich muss ich dem Eigentümer ein Kompliment aussprechen. Durch seine freundliche und angenehme Art fühlt man sich gleich wohl - deutlich anders als in großen Betrieben. Sollte ich einen Termin in der Nähe haben, würde ich ohne zu zögern hier wieder übernachten. Awesome! Love staying at this place! Highly recommended! Easy access to Freiburg, we walked 12 minutes to the train station and took a 4 minute train to Freiburg Hbf. Comfortable rooms, great breakfast and we enjoyed our stay. Während unserer Urlaubsreise haben wir spontan das Studio gebucht. Wir würden überaus freundlich in Empfang genommen. Uns wurde alles erklärt, sodass keine Fragen übrig blieben. We found a really place to stay, the owner is really gentle, kind and with refined manners. Everything simple and well arranged, peaceful and really close to many interesting places such Baden baden, colmar, Friburg I arrived at the hotel with a reservation of 2 2 nights. As I arrived, I noticed that my reservation was 3 weeks later, not short before. If I still do not understand that, I totally accept the fact that I possibly made a mistake. But how we have been treated there...The manager, 0 smile, started to make a little moral lesson saying that, for example, If I do not pay attention in a car, I can have an accident, so it would be better for me if I pay attention...Seriously? We made this agreement: if the manager was able to rerent the room, I will got 100% payback. I checked the booking page at these dates, there were no available. But, I just received 40€ out of 500€ back...Apparently, the hotel send me more, but I did not receive it. I wanted to discuss again, I showed my bank account to proove that I did not receive it...but you said the booking guy that you do not want to hear about me anymore, and if I insist, I should bring my lawyer...And I never ever threat you with a bad rating, but now I do. I did not sleep there, but I saw the place and meet the guy, and this 1 star maximum. Period. Wir wurden herzlichst begrüßt und bekamen sogar ein kostenloses Upgrade von Hr. Mann. Wir können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen, sehr saubere Zimmer und außerordentlich ruhig, obwohl an der Hauptstraße gelegen. Zentrale Lage, kurze Wege zum Bahnhof und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten . Wir kommen gerne wieder. Zeer nette kamers, zeer goed ontbijt, moet je voor betalen apart, maar het is het dubbel en dwars waard. Zeer aardige eigenaar, spreekt natuurlijk Duits, maar ook vloeiend Engels. Het enige jammere is, je kunt er in de avonduren niet even een drankje of bak koffie nemen. Voor de rest perfect, zou er zo terug komen. I was given a different less quality room. Only because I read the characteristics of the other kind of apartement I realized that it was not the one I booked. I complaint about it but the original wasn't free. In my opinion the men didn't behave transparently...and it may not be the first time it happens, so I advise you to pay attention to this point. The shower didn't work well,really hot water and the was in the cellar ( prison impression ) The host very friendly love it, a bit hotter than usual, no air conditioning but at least the fan a bit helps, free parking that's the most if you are by car. The manager is very kind and puts you at ease. The are squicky clean, and functional. A beautiful mountain nearby and easy 40min transport access with public transports. Cancellation terms are very unfavorable, requiring more than a month's notice for even a partial refund. It might be a place but I certainly will never know. Post owner's response: I am sure my review which is meant to warn others from making my mistake is surprising. What can I say? I just hope others don't have the same experience. The business gets to keep all my money so isn't actually harmed. My review is a buyer beware on cancellation terms--that is all. If attempting to shame me publicly adds to your day, I suppose you can enjoy that along with my money and the that will likely be reserved to another person as there is plenty of time for a new reservation. Win win for you I guess. Owner lived in America, hence his impeccable English pronunciation. Very nice, family owned hotel. Not expensive, really close to Freiburg (city really worth a visit!) and twenty minutes to Europapark. We had number 8, just under the roof with 3 people. Clean and quiet.
