Had half a day to kill in Freiburg and we found this spa. I reached at around 6 and left at 8:30 pm. Great place to relax and unwind. It was busy but not too packed. Lots of pools, and changing areas. Took a little nap in the garden surrounded by trees. I liked it so much that I skipped spas in Budapest fearing they wouldn’t match up with this place. A Must-Visit Every Year! We have been visiting Keidel Mineral-Thermalbad Freiburg every year during our trips to the Baselworld trade show, and it has become a highlight of our stay in the area. This bath is simply one of the best in Germany — clean, well-maintained, and beautifully located in a peaceful natural setting. The mineral-rich waters are incredibly soothing, and after each visit, we leave feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing escape — we always look forward to returning! Swimming are nice, and outdoor pool is perfect! It has different temperature ranging from 34 C to 40 C, ideal for winter time. The area, however, requires you to be only naked. It is forbidden to have in bikini, which was weird because no information on this at the entrance. Also, it is not allowed to take pictures inside, who knows why .. overall, the spa is new and clean, worth visiting Omg, after having lived here 7 years I dream of a relaxing evening spent here with my family! Let the warm waters soothe your soul… enjoy the delicious cafeteria for lunch, a snack, whatever… lay on their lounge chairs.., when I go alone or with adult friends I love the (get used to German mixed gender nakedness though!). A very relaxing hot spring bath with a large selection of of varying temperatures and mineral compositions. Not the calmest of all places, but calm enough to unwind and enjoy. This is our second visiting this place, and it is quite nice. However, it might be boring for small kids. We stayed for four hours, which was more than enough for us. My husband and I took turns going to the area, and it was a good experience. Ein tolles großes Bad, aufgeräumt, übersichtlich, ordentlich. Mit der auf Rezept verordneten "Rheuma-Liga" kann man Glück haben, es gibt unterschiedlich gute Kursleiter/innen. Tried to call a hundred times and nobody never answers the damn phone. What's the point of giving a god damn phone number if nobody never picks it up ?! It's an emergency, I'm not living nearby. You should rethink your way of hiring the staff holding the reception because besides being unpleasant to the customers, it seems to require specific skills for your agents to pick up a phone call even if ringing all day long (yes, it's an emergency and you're making me wasting a precious time). I'm getting mad about it right now and so desappointed about your way of caring about people's requests. That's definitely not kind and unprofessionnal of you. You should be ashamed... Since moving to Germany seven years ago, we have visited several Thermes, and Keidelbad has become our go-to Therme. There is always so much to do there, it is clean and the staff if pleasant, and the Restaurant is excellent. It was my first at spa. I was amazed how well organized the place is. We've spend 1.5 hours in which has a lot of options to relax and enjoy. For sure I will come back! Eine schöne Therme , hier kann man auch mit der ganzen Familie hingehen . Es ist sauber und die Umkleidekabinen sind schön groß. Die Preise sind soweit ok . Parkplätze je nach zeit ziemlich voll , allerdings haben wir bis jetzt immer einen Platz gefunden :-) Love this place, swimming pools, both indoors and outside. An amazing complex with different temperatures 75 /85/90&95 degrees. Lots of space and very well maintained, a place to experience the German approach to saunas. You need a long towel so you can avoid placing feet on the benches and flip-flops to get around. All the staff are super friendly, 31 Euro for & swimming. Alles Top!!! Schöne Therme, leider bisschen zu voll. I went at 4 pm for a massage at 5 pm and I wanted to spend an hour relaxing in the area. There was no option to buy a sauna-only ticket, you had to buy the entire bath + ticket and no discount for late afternoon arrivals. Too crowded, few showers. Ich möchte nun mal nur 2 Sterne an verschiedene Mitarbeiterinnen an der Kasse vergeben. Unfreundlichkeit scheint ihnen am Herzen zu liegen! Ich habe mich gestern sehr geärgert über eine bestimmte Dame , die im Stande war mir zuzuhören ( hatte zwei reservierte Karten, die ich mit der Wertkarte bezahlen wollte) . So hab ich der Dame das auch gesagt, aber sie wird sofort laut mir gegenüber , weil die Karten bezahlt sind . Ich bat die Dame , mich anzuschreien und wiederholte , dass ich mit Wertkarte bezahlen möchte. Daraufhin wird sie wieder laut und sagt , sie versucht das gerade rauszufinden was ich möchte. Wobei ich ihr alle Informationen gegeben hatte . Sie war aus unerklärlichen Gründen weiterhin sehr aufgebracht und ein drittes mal habe ich gebeten mich anzuschreien . Plötzlich hatte sie verstanden wie sie buchen kann, und schmiss uns die Eintrittsbänder auf die Theke und meinte sehr schnippisch ....viel Vergnügen und drehte sich gleich weg! Ich war schockiert , wie man mit Kunden umgeht und konnte mich lange beruhigen , schon gar entspannen. Wir haben eine Wertkarte von 500 € , sind schon so oft da gewesen, es gab oft Diskussionen an der Kasse , aber gestern war das Maß voll! Im Außenbereich hängt seit neustem ein Banner: "Keidel- Respekt waren! Wir danken Ihnen für einen freundlichen Ton unseren Mitarbeitern gegenüber!" Mein Vorschlag: vielleicht auch ein freundlicher Ton für Kunden und Gäste wäre toll! So behandelt zu werden geht gar nicht. Noch ein Tipp : Ein bisschen mehr Sauberkeit auf Toiletten wäre gut und vl mal das Auswechseln von völlig verkalkten und verdreckten Duschköpfen wäre auch toll ! Have been there a lot since my youth and can fully recommend. Last we did go, there was a misunderstanding where we booked a massage online, were unsure of the we booked it, but I thought it was 14h30/2:30 PM. When we arrived in the morning, we wanted to make sure and therefore asked at the front desk if the appointment was at that time. The staff confidently confirmed that it was indeed at the I stated. I got to the appointment and was told I was half an hour to late. Fortunately, they made me another appointment an hour later. It would be really if you could get an E-Mail and or printable document with the appointment confirmation on it when ordering online, since currently, there seems to be no confirmation at all :/ Definitely something to improve in my opinion. But as already mentioned, otherwise a wonderful experience. Always good to be here.
