I feel a bit conflicted writing this review. We came as a group of seven lads on a stag weekend — we’ve pretty much done every activity you can think of: buggies, shooting, quads, dirt bikes, zip wires, clay pigeon, you name it. The only thing we hadn’t tried (short of a skydive) was a hovercraft, which is why we chose this venue. There’s a lot to like here — and one main drawback. Let me explain. First off, the venue: it’s remote, and that’s a good thing. It looks exactly how it should — a bit rough, outdoorsy, muddy, and temporary. Perfect for this kind of activity. location, setup. We did the hovercrafts, and while they were amazing to drive, the description didn’t quite match the experience. You don’t actually spend that much driving — most of it is watching your mates have a go or listening to instructions. That said, the were absolutely fantastic — friendly, funny, and totally got the vibe of our group. They gave tips and made the really enjoyable. The hovercrafts themselves were brilliant, and despite the short run time, it was good value overall. You’re paying for something unique, and for what we spent (about the cost of a decent meal), it was definitely worth it. Just be mindful that the “time slot” includes setup, safety, and waiting — not just on the machine. We also tried the buggies, and again, loads of fun but too much standing around. We should have booked the multi-buggy track rather than the two-at-a-time version — that one’s on us. Very likely to be back but would probably contact the manager and say this is what we want to do, advise us how to do it. And probably break into smaller groups and rotate around more or something like that. A venue, just need to speed up on the waiting around. In summary: would we book again? Yes. Was it worth it? Yes. Biggest negative? Probably a 10:1 ratio of waiting to doing. But when you are doing — it’s fantastic. 13 million views and counting. We came here as a group for a stag party and did the air rifle activity – absolutely experience! The range was well set up with quality guns, and the landscape around made it even better. Super professional and friendly who made the session fun and safe. spot for people in and around Warrington – loads of parking too. Highly recommended! What a we had at Hover Force. We went for the hovercraft and it was so much fun. Harry was brilliant, guiding us how to get the most out of the experience, and was so patient when we got stuck 😂😂😂. We didn't realise how many more they had and were surprised when Paul showed us around. The different ranges were impressive, along with the different types of carting. You just can't go wrong with choosing Hover Force for either gift, experience, day out, or team events. They are truly set up for all occasions. Would highly recommend. Incredible! Flying a Hovercraft on your own or kids with an instructor, this is a very rare - here you can book it - besides other cool activities. The place to be for a men's trip, we can simply it. There is also a small kiosk where you can buy snacks and tea - but important is the stuff you can do. Thanks a lot - we will come back! Had a at Hover Force — the were brilliant! We especially loved the sports day challenges, air rifle shooting, and hovercraft experience. Definitely a fun and memorable day out. That said, the day could’ve been better organised. There wasn’t much of a briefing at the start, and at times it felt a bit unclear what we were supposed to be doing or where to go next — we were often just told to wait until someone found us. A simple intro and clearer instructions would make a big difference. Proper toilets and a better food selection would also improve the overall experience. Still, the themselves were excellent and we left with big smiles. Would recommend, just go with a bit of patience and a sense of adventure! Visited the hover force activity center to use there dune buggies. The place had loads of parking and were pleasant. We purchased the silver package for the buggies and felts it was over very quick. Literally as you are getting used to the vehicle you are coming in for a rest. Which I'm unsure why (track ) 5 minutes. You get a second run which is very similar to first run 5 minutes. I wouldn't be paying nearly £80 to use these again. No over taking no lap times no thrills. Not worth the money Did the Rally Buggies and Live Fire Rifels as a birthday present and had an absolutely wonderful time. All the were very helpful knowledgeable and took there explaining all safety aspects. Can't Hover Force enough, can't wait to return to try some of the other activities. Entrance road and toilets could do with a little work but didn't detract from the enjoyment. Many thanks to all the we met. I had a very good time. My instructor was very clear with the do’s and dont’s. He made sure I got everything and was open to questions. It was a thrill and I am DEFINITELY going back there again. We took three 13 year old grandchildren here on the one hour air rifle experience. It was easy to book on line in advance and the what3words directions were spot on. The very pleasant instructor was excellent; careful, precise and encouraging throughout . I can fully this for anyone wishing to give teenagers an introductory of shooting. One warning: the lane leading to the site from Frodsham was longer and bumpier than I had expected Brilliant. We did dirt karting and hovercrafting (my personal fave). The were lively and patient and the place accommodated all group sizes as well maximising safety with only ever small numbers on the at once. Liam took us through karting which was fun. And Owen and tom did a job in helping us novices with hovercraft. Couldn’t have enjoyed it more. Almost making the top 10. We travelled 70 mins to get there and would do it again. birthday treat Live fire - The instructor was great. Funny and informative. Safety is a priority and first timers will be taken care of. 50M open range and Hammerli Tac R1 as the default gun. Overall we (group of 6) had a fun time. Booked Air Rifle, Archery and Axe throwing for me and my wife for her birthday and what a present it was. We were hosted by Steve and he is such a gentleman and an amazing host. He made this so much more enjoyable by giving us useful tips on how to fire the gun accurately and how to shoot arrows and throw axes. Me and my wife are definitely going to book here again for some more memories and adventures. It was such a good day out and for 3 hours the price was very reasonable. If you want to book here for small or large groups or even 2 people, I mean come alone if you really want but there is for all and honestly you will not regret it. Such an amazing place I really loved being there today. Thank you to the whole team and a special thank you to Steve for making our day worth remembering. Five of us spent a fabulous 2 days here. Big shout out to Oscar and Romi for their patience and guidance on the Hovercraft’s. Made it a fun for all! Alex and Hannah made the air rifle safe but fun and Steve was on the crossbows, giving a bit of history of the area at the same as teaching. The buggy karts are and went down well. Think it was Tom who was the instructor who helped keep it safe and fun. A cracking place all in all and money very well spent! Definitely for a family trip or just a friends trip/stag/hen weekend.
