We loved this little site. Great for walking and a lovely along the into Chester. Nice pub a few minutes by the canal. Very quite, peaceful site. The lady owner was extremely helpful and a lovely lady. We intend to return as we enjoyed our stay so much. A small and well kept, quiet along the outside Chester. Spacious pitches around a central green so there's plenty of room. Lovely to along the towpath and watch the barges going by. Handy convenience shop at the garage 10 mins away and also a couple of pubs same distance. Friendly and very helpful people running the site. No complaints at all. Have been 4 times now and will return! Lovely little site. Right on easy 2 and a half miles along ( took about an hour) into Chester. Lovely walk. Large pitches… grass and hard standing with EHU. Nice clean facilities. Friendly welcome. Very nicely kept . Very sweet all round. Good pub only 10 mins at most along and others too on map. Would definitely recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a truly wonderful stay at Netherwood. The campsite is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and perfectly located for exploring the area. The facilities were spotless, modern, and very well cared for — everything you could wish for when travelling. What really makes Netherwood special, however, is the team. The guardian is warm, welcoming, and go above and beyond to make sure every guest feels at home. On our way back, we arrived late on a Sunday evening without a reservation, and they were incredibly kind and helpful in finding us a pitch. That level of service is rare and so much appreciated. This combination of excellent facilities, a relaxing atmosphere, and such thoughtful, caring hosts makes Netherwood stand out among campsites. We will certainly return and recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a truly enjoyable stay. Fantastic peaceful, small well kept campsite by the within walking distance of Chester, and a few pubs close by, or if you prefer the Park & Ride is not far away. The new owner Sally was very welcoming on arrival, also great communication when booking. The pitches are very spacious and well kept, thanks to the hard work by Kevin, who also gives a friendly welcome. The facilities onsite are clean and tidy. The shower block is only small but plans are in place for upgrading them, quite adequate, had a lovely hot shower, no push buttons on this site. Thanks again for a lovely stay. It is a fantastic quiet campsite by the side of the canal. Beautiful spot, easy access to Chester, either walking, cycling the path, using the park and ride or even driving into Chester. So much to do in the area. The campsite facilities are smart and cleaned highly and well maintained. The groundsman and owners are so welcoming and friendly. Definitely will come back. Thank you The is so spacious and green, as well as being in a great location - right on the canal, so lots to do. Some interesting, safe walks to nearby villages and Chester. It was great to stay in a where plots were not squashed together giving a sense of space and privacy. Very peaceful and relaxing. I loved the flower meadow with its jaunty scarecrow guarding over it. The recreation is an ideal play for kids. The boasts lots of good features including flowers in the bathroom, quality soap and lots of hot water. We would certainly go back again.
