We went in randomly last night to watch the fight. We haven’t been to HSC for years. We were very warmly welcomed by many people. Lloyd was particularly lovely and helpful when our younger friend fell ill. We have probably never been treated so kindly. Thank you so much for taking care of us and we will be back for sure! Held a function there last year and this year. Will definitely be booking for next year. All good thank you great service thanks 😊 We held a wake here and just wanted to say that the staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble for them and the food was fantastic, there was plenty of it and fresh. There was so much that people were taking boxes home. Highly recommend Very friendly staff and the carvery is blooming lovely too! Membership to this place entities you to reduced price drinks - which not many places offer! Great for families any time of the year - always something going on! We had our wedding reception here. They provided the best carvery for all the day guests and an amazing buffet in the evening I cannot thank mark and the rest of the team enough for making the day/evening the best after do for my wedding. Very nice place, my only issue is that there was a table full of men swearing constantly and talking about cocaine and also going off to the toilet together (obviously taking the drugs they were talking about). They had no regard for all of the small children running around. Other than that it is a lovely family friendly place. Went to a 60th birthday party last night which a good time was had by all. We were however shocked and astounded at how much they were charging for the drinks and at the time realised why they seemed reluctant to show the price on the card machine before you swiped your card. Several people made the same comment as us. Will think twice about accepting an invite if it is there again, or else become tea total for the night! Really disappointing as we live nearby and were considering joining the club. We held my Father-in-laws funeral at Heavitree Social Club. It is a lovely venue and beautiful buffet... Thank you Mark and too your team 🙏 Lovely friendly place. Great atmosphere and great prices. All the people make you feel welcome. They have great bands every Saturday, and when we get good weather, they have a slash park out the back.
