Excellent breakfast followed by a 9 hole course which was challenging I must join as a full membership..Great venue. Fantastic little place. Really welcoming and restaurant really really good! All very friendly. 9 holes and afternoon tea.. Glad of the breeze as it was a tad hot.. Bakon is barn A fantastic location, a lovely Restaurant with beautiful views over the Course. The are extremely friendly & helpful. I ordered the Chicken & Bacon Caesar Salad, absolutely delicious, it was massive, stacked real high with Chicken & Bacon. Now, I wouldn’t normally order a Salad, but I saw someone else’s & had to have it, seriously glad I did. A place to eat. Couldn’t tell u about the Course itself, but I know it’s very popular, always looks incredibly well kept. place. James the pro is a top bloke. Very helpful and not at all elitist like some clubs. Course is amazing for a beginner like me. Exminster Centre has a wonderful, welcoming vibe. I am thoroughly enjoying the golf, it’s a beautiful course with stunning views. The Greenskeepers are doing a fabulous job, the care that goes into the course maintenance is excellent. All are and I have had several delicious meals here. The added bonus is the Driving Range and James the Pro - I highly recommend! This is a course to learn to play ⛳️. There are and also helpful Food wasn't upto much, roast potatoes overcooked, roast beef was like boil the bag. Chicken was dry, vegetables were awful, soggy yorkshire pudding. Moved down to Devon and joined this club in February. It’s very welcoming and good for all kinds of golfers. Lots of functions go on as well which are always a good atmosphere. I don't have much to compare to but this is such a lovely course with facilities. lessons with the pro. Kids and adult group lessons and individual lessons. Really feel welcome. Lots of fun comps and more serious comps. Food really nice especially the chips and puddings 😀 lovely too. ladies section with lots of smiley faces. Thanks for welcoming us! Learnt to play here with brilliant Pro coach. Great, challenging 9 hole course ending back at the clubhouse bar. Ideal for refreshments midway through 18. Staff are so friendly with food and drinks reasonably priced. Members are welcoming and supportive, always ready with a helpful tip! Thoroughly recommend. Food was ok, the service was painfully slow, gave them the benefit of the doubt first time, but second time a couple of months later was just as bad. Won’t be back Exminster offers a couple of really challenging holes, regardless of skill level; each hole is diverse. It's a nine-hole course with some absolutely stunning views over the Exe. The greenskeeper knows their stuff as does the local pro. During the summer, it's up there with some of the best, and in winter they're always open even if they've had to move the flags into the middle of the fairway. Took a chance and rolled up on a Saturday morning and was quite surprised that we got a tee time within 30 mins. Clearly no members play on a Saturday. The pair ahead of us were sharing a half set of clubs and were awful. They had no idea of how to play and of etiquette. They actually laid their bag on the green when they putted. The 3 ball in front of them were useless and the 2 ball behind us were bad. None of the players we saw should have been on a course - they should’ve been on the practice ground. We walked in after 4 holes! If you are a ‘proper’ golfer then avoid this place. A very good 9 hole course, with 18 Tees. The green keepers keep the course in an excellent condition, the greens are some the best kept ones around. Now we talk about the restaurant and bar, food competitive prices throughout, plus they do some really offers. All the are extremely friendly and make sure that you are welcomed with a smile, they are all willing to help. If you do give it a go, you will notice lots of competitions and also social nights, which are open to all, members or non members. In short a club with lots to offer. Oh nearly forgot to mention a really good driving range. Give it a go, you will not be disappointed. Went for Sunday lunch. Roast was awful, beef and chicken dry, red cabbage was pink, clearly over boiled was limp and tasteless, stuffing inedible out of a packet! Gravy watery . Fish and chips rubbish and watery, side salad was wilted and on the turn! To top it off a boat of hot gravy was placed on the table right in front of 2 year old in highchair accident quickly avoided!! Fantastic setting shame about the poor quality food. Wouldn't return Exminster Centre is more than just glorious golf! Members enjoy a lively bar with bar and a super pro shop with a fabulous Pro with a wonderful smile…. Lots of entertainment with many evening events. The comps make weekends a must-sign up zone. It’s serious with all the help needed with private lessons and group sessions. At the same time often there are many fun competitions. It’s a full on Membership and it’s unique. Well done to Luci and and thank you!
