I am a member at Thurlestone Club and was given the opportunity to play Teignmouth. Booking a tee time via the Pro Shop was very simple, and on the day, we were blessed with fine weather. The course was in lovely condition, the heather was putting on a fine display, and the greens running true. We had an enjoyable game against a backdrop of stunning views. Tea and toasted tea cakes overlooking Shaldon and Teignmouth finished a perfect day. Thank you Teignmouth Club...I intend returning! The jewel of Teignmouth. The from the course are fantastic and the club house is very well laid out and spacious. It is well worth a visit Lovely place, well decorated for Xmas, stylish. food and clean facilities. Lovely moorland/ heathland course. One of my favourite courses in Devon. The first is a fairly straightforward par 5 although requires a good strike off the tee given the way it slopes right to left, make sure you stay right! Greens are generally in condition and run fast. Only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is it's so hit and miss whether the course is actually open given its closed due to fog a fair bit! Stunning Really impressed with this fantastic course! Travelled all the way from Leicester as we heard so many good things about the place. Greens were in perfect condition! Lovely staff and really nice and friendly guy in the pro shop! Looking forward to returning on the next trip! Thankyou !! Fabulous condition! A very testy track, the heather is really punishing so stay in the fairways if you can, lightening fast greens in wonderful condition and the bunkers are very well kept. Lovely challenging course, and a fabulous clubhouse overlooking Teignmouth. I came for an evening event. food and drinks, Jake on the bar was fantastic! Quick and very smilie Beautiful landscape of Teignmouth and the sea. I really enjoyed the food what they had at the bar. They didn't have that many drinks what I like. They also ran out of drinks what I was having with my family. A beautiful Alistair McKenzie course with excellent facilities, immaculate greens and the friendliest of staff. A round of 18 here is well worth the price, a steal when member discount is applied. As a member, I can also say the option to pay monthly for membership makes it really good value if you can get down even once a week. Never played the course but it does look great. Had a Sunday carvery here a few weeks ago and it was fantastic, the clubhouse isn’t at all snooty, jeans and a shirt absolutely fine, service and food was excellent. Fabulous from the dining area. Too much heather on the course for my liking, unless your hitting the ball reasonable straight all the time be prepared too lose a fair few balls 🤣 membership prices are way too expensive especially as there's other courses around that offer better deals.
