Frequently mentioned in reviews: Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. little campground, fairly level, and some grassed sites. There's a wood fired BBQ and a communal firepit as well (byo wood), there's a few picnic tables and benches, a day-use parking area, and really well kept flushing toilets. There are NO other amenities or potable water as it is signposted as a SELF CONTAINED camping area only. There are three to the viewing platforms for the waterfalls , however they all have 100+ metres of steep to negotiate, but it. I thought to stop for a look here on my travels and I was glad I did. Great place, there's also a toilet 🚻 block, and lots of parking. I enjoyed the easy access via the concrete (about 200 all the way to the bottom), however, if you're in a hurry you can stop half way down for a view of the and the swimming hole 🫶😊👍🏻 Stayed for 2 nights. A lovely place to camp with clean toilets. A lovely bush setting and very quiet. A few to do to observe the gorge. Unfortunately just a trickle for the waterfall while we were here. Lots of steps. Great views and interesting rock formations. Kimbombi is a beautiful unexpected place! There is a small gorge accessed by a well made path and many many stairs. As the majority of rainfall here comes in summer storms you can't expect to see much water in the creek and the 'falls' don't often flow. If you enjoy 'rock hopping' there's plenty of fun moving around the gorge and creek. The council maintained campground is excellent with toilets, but is signed as for RVs and Caravans only. A nice quiet spot to top the night. Lovely free camping area. When in full flow the would be awesome. Although the aren't flowing, it's very picturesque. Easy road in, bitumen until turn off - the gravel road in is good. No TV reception if you're staying; and limited mobile reception. The three are good, the get your heart pumping. Very beautiful and incredible views of the mountains. Well the short drive from goomeri or other nearby towns! The are only a short walk away although there are alot of steps! The second viewing platform is seeing too but the third track is not the steep descent with no view of the falls. Plenty of parking even on a weekend A quiet camp with plenty of picnic tables around the fire pits, no power or water, for self contained campers and tents not allowed. Great easy short walks. Plenty of sites. Very clean toilets! This is a free camp. The were not flowing well ehen we visited but the gorge, lookouts and the trails were absolutely excellent. Lookouts 1 & 2 were easily accessible with well made steps. Lookout 3 is a little more adventurous and after lookout 3 is a track doen to the bottom of the Gorge which becomes very slippery for the last 50 metres. Well going down but make sure you have hiking shoes and preferably a hiking pole. Definitely a visit. Tarred road all the way from Goomeri QLD campground, well taken care off toilet. Got 3 trail for lookout. Nice and beautiful view at the lookout area, you also can go down via the trail. Nice free camp a bit dusty great view of the falls. Toilets very clean but no showers. No water available must bring your own. Fire pits available for BBQ. The did not exactly lead to the base of the waterfall and were a little confusing. But, it is a lovely place and was easy to get to. Love this place, need to be reasonably fit and agile to navigate the rockwalls trail down to the falls, not the best waterfall or cleanest to swim, but beautiful and green. Clean flushing toilets. It can get very busy at times. For a free camp, this has everything you need, even a. flushing toilet. Nice level areas suitable for caravans. A couple of short with lots of to the lookout to the waterfall. Great scenic views. 3 lovely walks. #1 is quiet difficult with lots of stairs. #2 and 3 are much easier and relatively flat. Nice Lookouts at the end of each walk. Toilet facilities are there and they are very clean.
