Congress Palace - Vichy Opera

Vichy, France Exhibition and trade center

Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. A real jewel of the city's architectural heritage which was built at the request of Napoleon III. It is housed in the former casino, which included a ballroom, gaming rooms, and a theater. One can note a metal barometer on its facade ! Then was expanded with the construction of an Art Nouveau style opera house in 1903. The Casino was restored to its original state and enhanced with contemporary spaces in 1995 and became a convention center, a venue entirely dedicated to business tourism. The blend of architectural styles on the facades of the convention center continues inside, offering you a unique setting ! This is the most beautiful place still bringing stars to my eyes. If you are visiting Vichy do not miss it out, also drink the Thermale water to boost your health. Very nice Great place Super 👍 Great place to visit BUT « entrée libre » in most places means that it’s free of charge. Here, it means it’s 5€ and nobody guides you, do you’re free aka “libre”.... Also, for 5€ per person, I counted 28 bulbs that were broken. They should change those! Great Palace The place is very nice and gives a feeling of old era. The opera house is really big with seating arrangement of around 300 people. There are open rooms also for cultural/social activities. The famous hot spring is not very far, which is good.
