The pools and changing rooms are clean. The are brilliant. Always helpful and happy to answer questions. Theres usually plenty seating so you can watch you kids at swimming lessons. Joe had a 1 to 1 lesson today as non of his class turned up. It was ace. He definitely benefited from it. 28th Oct 2023-The kids had Tracey for swimming lessons today. She's a good teacher and doesn't take any nonsense. But the progress Joe has made being her swim class is amazing. I'm so proud of him . Just visited the newly refurbished centre. What a fantastic community facility. I am writing this review only having used the swimming pool! The changing area is mixed, not a problem as there are individual cubicles to use! These are slightly out of date and would benefit from an upgrade. The showers and toilet area also could do with a face lift. Saying that, the itself is warm, clean and nice to swim in. The activities they provide in the pool, such as aqua aerobics is very popular and looks like a lot of fun. The are extremely helpful and very polite. I enjoy using this establishment. I would recommend heating the more especially in November Been swimming here since April. Lovely which is one of the warmer pools I have used. The are amazing, from the lovely helpful reception girls who always take time to chat to the life guards who look after you in the pool. Started aqua aerobics last week and loved it. I thought I wouldn't manage with 2 knee replacements but you take it at your own speed and ability. Look forward to many more happy swims Great place and the are excellent. I have been going on a weekly basis for over 30 years and met some great people through this time. Only issue I have is that the sauna/steam room is in dire need of an upgrade. It looks run down, tired and unsightly (especially the steam room). I speak for all the regulars who go there and the ones who have went elsewhere because of this. Renovations/ upgrades are truly amazing, especially the gym. We are so very lucky to have such a facility in Cowdenbeath!!
