Challenging course with some tricky holes but really enjoyable. Played Pumpherston Golf Course today with my son. I am just back after 35 years and my son complete beginner. My first impression was the staff were not particularly interested in some of my questions. They were not the friendliest of people, but I put it down to a bad day. The course itself was a fantastic and challenging to play loved the layout. A bit disappointed there was no hole 19 and a place to eat. it was a good day golf I certainly will be back. Went here today for first time for birthday dinner. The food was beautiful very fresh and tasty. Staff all very nice beautiful view over the golf course. Will be back very nice food and place. Great night at 40th anniversary event, nice and friendly place Very friendly, great course, some real character holes. A must play course! Our visit far outweighed our expectations. I'd read the reviews but still expected to be disappointed. It was brilliant. Fresh ingredients, properly cooked. Great staff, wine properly chilled. Affordable in this cost of living crises we're experiencing.
