We enjoyed the weekday lunch menu offers. Curry, roast beef, bacon with lots of vegetables and a delicious mash. The prices were quite convenient, huge portions, lovely service. Best food we tried in Ireland! We ordered soup, turkey roast, and prawn open toast on soda bread. Everything was excellent. Good steamed vegetables, homemade Irish brown soda bread, and superb roasted turkey. Service was quick and efficient, with friendly smile. Although it’s busy, no one waits long and happy with food. Excellent. Really enjoyed the fish and chips here. Little touch of crispy fried onions on the salad were delicious. Coleslaw was lovely and the fish was tasty. Nice batter. The chips were not skin on fries which was a bonus. Ill be back. It was so busy which is a sign but that didn't affect the efficient service. Friendly and fast just what you need for lunch. Very impressed. Got some brown bread and scones on the way out, scones were lovely brown bread was dry but nice flavour. Mai Fitzs Bar is such an amazing place to visit and have some food. We were fortunate to be given this place to try by our host when staying not far down the road. The food is so good, service outstanding, and such a welcoming atmosphere. They had by far the best seafood chowder on our 11 day trip in Ireland. Can't wait for the next trip to get another bowl, or two! The oasis on the long journey between Cork and Kerry. food is nothing without service and Mai Fitz has it all with conversation as a starter and desert! One of the best places in Kerry to eat. Often pricey restaurants in Ireland don't have such cooks as this place does. Well cooked flavoursome food. Will always stop here to eat on the way to or from Cork. Strongly recommended 👌. We had the turkey with the stuffing mashed potatoes and the gravy. It was absolutely delicious. We would highly recommend this restaurant when you are in Ireland. Frequented this place on a regular basis and after the way we were treated by a staff member today I or any member of my family wont be back horrible customer service and the waiter couldn't get an order right he seemed to busy to take the orders down properly my advice to him he is in the wrong job stay out of the heat if u cant handle the fire he's ignorance to when my son sent back a burned steak when he had asked for it medium cooked when he brought the proper cooked steak out everytime he passed he sided eye gave dirty looks he's attitude was not right for a restaurant if u asked me he looked like he depended on some class A's Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
