This is my golf club. A club, formed in 1869, is one of the oldest in the UK. course, professional team, and the club is run by individuals in every department. Guinness is also very good, as is the bar staff that looks after you. Please give it a try because you will enjoy it. Stirling has developed into a golf course that is both a pleasure to play and a challenge to low and high handicappers alike. The are complemented by lush fairways, and the graded rough keeps play moving. The trees have matured and now present beauty and many a hazard. Surrounded by a panoramic view of the Carse of Stirling, Ben Lomond, Ben Ledi and Ben Vorlich to the west, Stirling Castle and the Old Town to the north, the Ochils to the east, and the Touch hills to the south, the are unique. Even on an off day, the visitor has much to admire. Golf Course. Well worth a visit. It is my home Golf Club and I am well proud of it. Fantastic and Stirling Castle as a backdrop Having had the pleasure of experiencing Stirling Golf Club after hearing various accounts from fellow players, I am delighted to share that our round was thoroughly enjoyable. The staff exhibited exceptional friendliness and helpfulness, making us feel most welcome. The course was in excellent condition, and the were particularly well-maintained. I would wholeheartedly recommend this course to anyone seeking a pleasant golfing experience, as it also offers some truly remarkable views. Nice course, good lunch after in clubhouse. Lots of non golfers using King's Park in and around course. Fantastic of Castle from virtually every hole. golf course situated in historic Stirling, the professionals are very easy to talk and very helpful. You get from many holes here many with the backdrop of Stirling Castle and a few with Ben Lomond and other hills in the background. This course is very well laid out and holes that have James Braids design all over them raised with false fronts. The green keepers do a job with the upkeep of the course lining the undulating fairways and keeping the firm and rolling well. If I were to give some feedback was that there was a number of with pitch marks which had not been repaired, I have visited here a number of times over a few years and didn't seem to be a thing until the last time I visited. Ps the food in the clubhouse always smells fantastic but I have never been in, so I can't comment further. I was lucky enough to play here a few weeks back after winning a raffle for a four ball. I have to say it's the best course I have played by far. The course condition were fantastic. The green keepers have done a job keeping on top of the course. The course has some of the best of the Stirling Castle on some of the holes which was beautiful. I would highly recommend playing this course if you happen to be visiting Scotland. I will return for a second round ! Nice course in very good condition for the time of year. Some stunning holes, with the 1st, 9th and 18th being my favourite. We got a good welcome at the bar, despite a very busy day hosting the Scottish Junior Championship on the day of our visit. I will definitely return as there was at least a couple of holes I should have done better. Phone call to book was handled fantastically and professionally by Adam, he’s a credit to your team, what a lovely fella. Second time playing it in 3 years and the course was in fantastic condition. Tee to green was superb and what about those views. If you’ve not played it you should, highly recommend. Unfortunately did not have the time to stay for food or drink, so can’t comment. Will definitely be back. Super day at Stirling GC. Exception on a really well presented course. Catering for 24 was 1st class and welcome from Kenny (pro) and the hospitality team.
