The Pavilion had a food festival on today. Plenty of stalls and food vendors. One part had African and Caribbean food the other various international flavours. I also had a pint because the bar was open. We were there for daughters wedding and can't fault this facility. Staff were very helpful, food and waiting staff were great can't fault anything. Lovely park, great for a walk or run. You can go and visit the peacocks and see some flowers in the glasshouse. The play parks are great for both younger and older children too. Lovely to sit in the late summer sun on the terrace Beautiful park,nice cafe with kids play area steeped in history when walking through the older parts of the Glen Was here for a Skids concert and it was well set out. Great sound and atmosphere. Pity sets for support bands were so short but worth it I was at a wedding over the weekend, and despite how busy it was and the wait at the bar, the service was absolutely amazing. Katherine and Finn went above and beyond — they were friendly, helpful, and never showed any stress, even with a long queue. Their lovely attitudes really stood out and made the experience so much better We attended this venue for a wedding. Lively venue in the middle of the park, excellent space for a large wedding party, dancing and food. Very reasonably priced for drinks as well.
