AREA CAMPER BERGERAC

Bergerac, France RV park

Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. This an aire for motorhomes and it's good to find as few campsites are open in November! Site has spaces for free and some requiring payment (€7.60) for 24 hours (max 72) including electricity; payment by card. Has grey water waste drain. After paying for a pitch, or pitch + electricity, a ticket is issued with 8 numbers. At the local electrical supply post, press Code, type the 8 digits, press V and then press the button above your 16A socket. 30 minutes walk into Bergerac, except that there's no pavement or footpath! Nearby supermarkets, restaurants and hotels. Fabulous area. In the centre on nature. Lovely lake for swimming. Walks round the park and into Bergerac. What a difference 2 yrs makes. The place is clean & tidy. Barriers on the way in, spacious parking. Ehu grey water disposal clean water. Great place. 'Malcolm' on tour found it a reasonably well spaced aire 20+ flattish hard standing spaces, electric, water and wastes available. Relatively quiet but not near the centre. Would definitely use it again. Fantastic and popular. One of the best aires on which we have stayed. Bergerac has beautiful historic buildings and an ancient link with England. Well worth a visit. Good site, well maintained but quite far from town. Excellent place to stop. Would like to keep it secret really 😀. Only approx 7 euros per night for secure pitch and electric. Park pombonne nearby which has a lake to swim in and a beach with lifeguards Cafe/restaurant there also. Great location. Great aire we were there when everything was free. The woodland round the aire is second to none. And Bergerac was beautiful. A great stay. Looked more like an open prison than somewhere safe to sleep for a night....the 'locals' who have obviously been there some time sponging the electricity, have set up shop so that they have plenty of space either side of them to park their mopeds and other rubbish. The local authority need to get a grip on this site. Didn't stay here, instead drove a couple of miles up the road to Lembras, which was an improvement.
