Went here during our vacation together with friends. Mostly nicely renovated castle. Lots of to play inside and outside. Friendly vacation workers selling cookies or dressing children up. are fun for all ages. Even our teenagers participated. A proper bistro with seats would be an improvement. Good picknick facilities though and there is a souvenir shop. The Chateau is ok, it won't take you long to get around it, the gardens on the other hand are great if you have younger children. It is filled with lots of for them to play with. I would say it is overpriced, but we weren't charged as there wasn't anybody there to take the admission fee. It was a special evening! We started at around 7:30 pm, we played at the nice wooden outside and by 8 pm we took some apéro, cold cuts and cheese which the baked Camembert was super good by the way. We were entertained by the local dance and music, very original! Then at around 9 pm we visited the in candlelight which was a very unique experience for us! It gives a different angle from the usual visits which is ordinary. We love the effort and passion they put in this place, you can feel it from the wooden toys and the decorations around. There was a horse show as well, the horses were beautiful and made us appreciate how wonderful these creatures are! We highly recommend this visit!! A wonderful Château thats been well maintained. Surprisingly quick to walk about. I think we explored the whole Château in about an hour and that was at a slow pace. The animals on site was a nice touch along with the children's games. I must say I surprised myself with how much I enjoyed the games! A great day out here We really enjoyed it here! My 9 year old loved all the lawn games, and we loved that there were chairs that we could move into the shade and just relax while the kids played. The you go through pretty quickly, there are some inside, too, which are fun. Someone was making madelines in the kitchen and we got to try them. They included photos of the old, empty before restoration which we found really neat. Also loved the horses on site that you can visit, they took them out for the kids to help wash them in the afternoon, it was cute. There's ice cream and treats along with some lunch items at the small cafe. Wonderful chateau friendly staff and lots to do. Outdoor and interesting chateau. Wonderful project restoring the chateau. The in the gardens were fantastic and we could of stayed there all day. Only thing was that we didn't understand the tour around the chateau as we can't speak French.. but oh well maybe learn French and come back next year? We had a wonderful day here with our 6 year old. We arrived at opening ,free parking, no queues and a delight as soon as we entered! Toilets are located at the check in desk which is fab if you've travelled Helpful staff to translate with tickets sales etc The gardens are beautiful with animals and at least 25 of all sorts to get children's and adults minds thinking Some classics and some harder ones! The cafe and picnic area is top notch with local wine to taste The Chateau provided a welcome relief from the heat with engaging activities for children to try including quill writing The stables are small but lovely to with the ponies coming out for visits at times advertised when you arrive. It gave a to the included and used of all the around the place. Really enjoyed the visit, lots do see and do for all ages. What a truly fabulous day out this is! We took our grandchildren aged 8 and 3 and were delighted with everything about this well thought out fun experience for young and old alike!
