Adventure Cafe

Taunton, United Kingdom Tour operator

One of the Top rateds in Ruishton Frequently mentioned in reviews: Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Professional outfit used frequently by our company. Recommended My first multi day of this kind though I've done large events and would consider myself an experienced cyclist. Great routes with roads you would struggle to find in a short along with a choice of distance to push yourself ,or not ,made for a very enjoyable break. Decent hotels and food all pre planned means no thinking just riding. Jon, Rachel, Steve and Mikes took care of everything and I hope to take part in another "adventure" soon Superb organisation of a challenging bike over several days. Provided helpful planning info before the trip. Managed a large of cyclists of all abilities. Accommodated specific needs and requests and got everyone safely over the finish line. Motivated the and coordinated all event stages. Great work! Can’t wait to do it again We have just returned from Poland having completed a fund raising trek with Adventure Cafe. This was the 6th Trek I have been on that was arranged by Adventure Cafe, and every one of them was excellent. Their staff have been brilliant each time. George was our guide for this trip, and he was extremely helpful, encouraging, kind and cheerful. (He was however a little optimistic about our speed.) I have no hesitation recommending Adventure Cafe, and am sure I will be going on another trek with them in the future. 3 peaks in Yorkshire Dale on Saturday! It was so well organised and Adventure cafe gave us a great day! Thank you This was my first cycling with Adventure Cafe (AC); first riding from London to Paris and my first riding this sort of distance over 3 days. Lots of preparation had gone into this from AC prior to departing London. We were sent the itinerary, maps, training and nutrient guides too. We were also briefed a week before departure via a virtual meeting and again on the morning in person with a safety briefing, which gave us the opportunity to ask questions to kerb our nerves and anxiety. We were suitably accommodated with water, snacks, food, toilets and overnight hotel stays throughout. What made this even more special was the weather (yes, even I got another tan) and the amazing of strangers that I had the pleasure of meeting and talking with along the way and boy, did it make the journey so much more enjoyable. The just clicked! Favourite part of the ride: Avenue Verte - 60 miles of traffic free cycling/pedestrian dedicated path from Dieppe to Beauvais - Heaven!! Would I do this again - Hell yeah!!! A big shout out to Andy, Martin and the entire cycling 🚴 🙏 Just on the train home from Bordeaux after the most incredible ride from Paris to Bordeaux. Wayne and Mike deserve a huge amount of credit, they've been fantastic. Excellent guides, they've helped with everything from directions to moral when the times got tough. The driving was great and the rest breaks and lunches were always well stocked and set up. They came out with us every night and formed part of our team. Will remember them fondly and hopefully paths will cross again. I didn't arrange things with AC but as a member, I felt like everything was seamless every step of the way. Thanks so much! We recently worked with Adventure Café to facilitate the LimbPower Snowdon Trek fundraiser, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, the were incredibly helpful, organised, and genuinely thoughtful. A huge thank you to Sam in the office, who was always on hand with encouragement, reassurance, and answers to every question. Her was invaluable in the lead-up to the event. Special thanks to Dave, the ever-capable overlord, who went above and beyond to understand our group’s specific needs – including what may be needed to a quad amputee participant. He ensured every eventuality was planned for and even personally phoned me and other participants the day before the trek to check everyone was prepared and feeling confident. And our Mountain Leaders, Roger and Owen – absolute stars! Their enthusiasm, kindness, and made the whole unforgettable. They checked in with us constantly, shared plenty of laughs, and were supportive and motivating every step of the way. Adventure Café also arranged a lovely hotel the night before where they served a delicious dinner, and on the day of the trek, we set off early, reaching the summit in 4 hours 5 minutes, and returning to the village after 8 hours 23 minutes. It was a huge achievement, made possible by the dedication and professionalism of this brilliant team. A truly heartwarming part of the day was the incredible we received from fellow trekkers on the mountain. So many stopped to cheer us on, offer encouragement, and even donate on the spot – it was a beautiful reminder of the power of community and shared effort. Together with LimbPower, Adventure Café helped our summit Snowdon – the highest peak in Wales – and prove exactly what people are capable of. I couldn’t have wished for a better experience. Thank you to everyone involved! Brilliantly organised event with fun and knowledgeable mountain leaders. Plenty of snacks provided at the refuel stations as well, first class all round!! Only maximum praise to Mike and Paul. They’ve done a job and are a cracking and most enjoyable characters Another great trekking with Adventure Cafe in the Tatra mountains of Poland raising funds for the St James’s Place Foundation. Dave and the combine professionalism & fun! See you next year! Quality outfit. Will use again 👍. Above and beyond! 🚀 We did a charity bike ride from Manchester to London (a mixed of riders, novice to professional) and we couldn't have done it without Adventure Cafe. Excellent pre-event organization from Sam with regular updates and info. The two chaps pictured (Paul & Mike) are cracking fellows who are incredibly experienced, which helped enormously when we suffered 4 mechanical breakdowns in 1 day. Really nice guys who always had the answer, the plan and the motivation! We have worked with Adventure cafe on quite a few challenges now & everyone has been run professionally & the hike leaders have always been really helpful & friendly I just completed a brilliant Munich to Ljubljana cycling with Adventure Cafe. They manage to “herd the cats” very effectively, always remaining calm and supportive so that everyone was able to thoroughly enjoy the event whether fast or steady in pace. I can’t wait until next year’s event! A with truly memorable cycling. Nothing was too much trouble for our guide and the crew at Adventure Café who went above and beyond to insure the smooth running of this epic ride around Mallorca.
