Sarah (the owner) greeted us with cats and hot chocolate, and even had vegan hot chocolate and marshmallows which was a delicious surprise. We also got a sneak peek at all of the other animals, with pigs, goats, reindeer, llamas, alongside an alpaca, horse and donkey. All the were so and sweet you can really feel how much love and devotion they have there. Sarah told us all about all the she has, and how they came to find their homes with her. This truly is a sanctuary and paradise for the - there is even a rogue wild peacock who has (understandably) decided to stick around! The were incredible little things and they were enough to give us some cuddles! One on one with the owner and cows, only being my daughter and I at the farm and having complete unrushed getting to know these animals. The cows were so gentle and well looked after. They loved being groomed by us and having chin rubs. Sarah was so personable and it’s clear to see truly loves her animals. Getting up close and personal with them and brushing them was such an that I have never had. . We will definitely be back to see the cows again and next I will also be doing the fox experience. From start to finish we had the best and Sarah and David were so and welcoming. . The hot chocolate before we went in was a touch too. We stayed overnight in the ocean hut and it was so and relaxing. We weren’t cold at all and had the best nights sleep. Was lush to see all the other too and Sarah couldn’t do enough for us. You can tell that all of the are so loved and well looked after too. Had the added bonus of some gorgeous cats that popped in and out of our pod throughout the evening. The toilets and showers were clean and just a stones throw away from the pod too. It's such a shame that there is a new regulation for a license fee in Somerset when there is no need for this licensse elsewhere such as Dorset. It's a massive expense on top of all of their bills and running costs, the application of which could be considered unfair in comlarison to the other counties. But all in all a really festive visit! The owners were very accommodating, and the place was clean and very well laid out. The reindeers were very friendly, to be able to get so up close and personal with such majestic creatures. They were very well cared for and the owners knew the inside and out! We also got to meet the cows, horses, pigs, array of birds and the donkey which was great! Would 100% recommend and will be booking to do the fox ! Having attended the Christmas in December which the kids absolutely loved I was very excited when I received the fox fascination for my birthday. As soon as we arrived we felt very welcome by the owners. It is apparent how much they love the and after our hot chocolates we were lucky enough to meet a baby goat who had been born the day before. We had hot chocolate which was included in our tickets and a mince pie. The fox was lovely. We meet two and feed them cheese! They are gorgeous and so friendly. We also met a new addition, a goat, which was born the day before. All round brilliant and a time, would recommend to anyone.
