This spa is about 1 hour by train from Berlin then around 20 minutes by bus. Ideally you should spend at least 3 hours to really enjoy it. It offers jacuzzi, swimming and sauna. I loved the jacuzzi and the lavender along with many cold and hot showers. Daily pass cost Euro 27 and 10 extra for sauna. Unfortunately, the food is very limited and the sitting is just wooden benches with ants crawling all over the tables. Obsulatly disgusting! There is a nice park overlooking a lake next to it , it's worth a visit. I've been to better spas..... My wife and I went here last night because we received a gift certificate for our wedding. We spent a little over 6 hours in the pool and sauna. Unfortunately, we didn't like it that much. While the saunas themselves are great, our favorite was the panoramic overlooking the lake, everything else is tiny and feels cramped. The large saltwater pool is nice, but not as relaxing. And again, the space between the and the beds is very small and hard to walk around. A big positive surprise was the restaurant. We had the edamame, gyoza, mangu curry with shrimp and bun bo nam bo. It was delicious. Probably one of the best Thai meals I've had west of Phuket. Unfortunately, the evening ended on a sour note as the parking garage is also - surprise, surprise - super cramped and I scratched the rims of our car going down the super narrow ramp. To sum up: we've been here, but we prefer the SpreewaldTherme in Burg or the VaBali Spa in Berlin. Huh somewhere between 3 and 4 tbh, but somehow more for three. So in consideration of price, and comparing this with vabali I would say that this spa fails the most. 6h with saunas and therme included is smth like 95 euros and ok its fine but I would for this expect few basic things: - there is no shower gel.. - really limited and hidden places for taking water even in new buildings there is no place for drinkable water - towels not provided - because of location I would expect that's cheaper And then few things that I would expect for this money: - Ordering in a restaurant is like you need to go to the place order food and then they will bring it to you, it's kind of a half self service - would expect a lot of more sun beds it's almost impossible to find one that's free and many of them are just covered with someone's towel. - just found at the end that it's forbidden to take pictures, I don't have an issue with not taking pictures but it's really not so obvious Positive things: - really nice big pools, salty water, sound pool - Thai restaurants have really good food - new building panorama and last floor terrace is awesome Overall, most of sauna's are really small so for part if you want to visit there is much better focus spa and it's in the center of Berlin. But for pools, I would definitely choose this one over the Vabali. Bad Saarow Therme is decent but struggles to justify its high price. The panoramic saunas offer great views, the food is good, and the staff are friendly. Unlike other thermes in the area, the crowd was normal, which was a plus. However, the layout is inconvenient—moving between saunas and is a hassle. The showers have awkward water angles, making them frustrating to use. While it’s clean and well-maintained, for the price, I expected a smoother, more seamless experience. I'd recommend it. The worst possible experience to come all the way from Berlin to Bad Saarow Therme with the family to experience that this place solely dedicated to senior citizens/adults on Fridays and Saturdays. Children-free days are Friday and Saturday. What a “family-friendly” approach :( Terrible! It's affordable, you can reach it by train and public transport in less than an hour and half from Berlin. They have different kinds of inside and outside. I would like to give a plus point for the pool with underwater music and its relaxing atmosphere. I heard its textile-free for adults on Saturday. Make a phone call and reassure it before you head on to this beautiful oasis. Very unfriendly and more importantly unprofessional staff in the area. Disrespectful treatment, when lecturing about code of conduct. A conversation one could have easily had in a friendly tone and with some manners. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re planing on visiting the spa area for some relaxing moments, other spas are much more understanding and customer friendly. We tried to voice our concerns at the reception about the behavior of some of the staff, but were completely brushed off. We enjoyed a great weekend. Started out with a mud bath for two on the first day. Next day we spend a couple of hours at the pool and area and ended the day with a float session. On the third day we had an herbal oil bath. I can highly recommend the area for hiking and Saarow Therme for a relaxing time.
