Love room, lovely and awesome food. Very small town so the fact this restaurant is top notch after traveling all day is so nice. Comfy beds and very clean rooms and really all you want in a small coastal village. Beautiful bar/hotel right between Helensburgh and Rhu. The was incredibly friendly and helpful! Special shout-out to Ella, Hannah and Gordon for being awesome, professional and incredibly friendly! We stayed for 7 nights and ended up eating dinner at the restaurant every night because the food never disappointed :D. If you're looking for accomodations in the area to rest between hikes and exploring this place is 10/10 highly recommend! Excellent one night stay, booked at short notice. Got a room upgrade from a single to a double without charge. Thoroughly looked after by the staff. Food was good and competitively priced. Excellent full Scottish breakfast with tattie scones and black pudding. Recently stayed for 2 nights and had a nice stay. Clean & comfortable room. Good wifi. Hot shower. Great location. Parking available. Had a meal each night that was delicious & breakfast was excellent as well. The were very helpful & friendly. My only issue was other guests were very unruly & had no consideration for other guests. This is a historic building & therefore is not soundproof - if you are after peace and quiet this will not suit you. There is a bar that has music till 12mn. Can't comment on the rooms as I didn't stay, however the food was delicious and was topped by lovely staff. Was meeting friends for our Xmas night out and all were lovely! Annie, Shannon, Oscar and ruaraidh were all delightful we there was serving us at table or bar. Thanks guys for making our Christmas night out a memory We were staying here for 5 days due to working in the area, straight from the get go everything was top notch and bang on. Annie was very helpful in answering questions and had some witty banter to keep us on our toes!
