Had an Etna Special fried Pizza, Arancini, Canoli, and a red wine produced locally that was delicious. The was perfetto and went above to accommodate a special request we had. One of the best Espresso I tasted on a 14 day stay in Italy. A beautiful creama and deep flavor that did not leave a burnt taste. The village was not busy but waiters was not dealing with customers. We waited 15 mins, they did not come to get our order. I went to till to order myself. The boss said a waiter will come and take our order shortly. He came, but he was looking otherside, was talking with his colleague and did not use pen and paper! So what happened. I ordered americano, but got double espresso, my wife ordered sodawater, they did not serve it. We ordered chocolate gelato for my son, they bring pistachio gelato!! Not so much place to go but you should know We also ordered two cookies with custard and chocolate filling. We gave a bite but could not finish! Amazing, fresh and typical Sicilian specialties! Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant. While it has the best location on the square and the food was acceptable, the was the worst I've experienced so far in Sicily. Apart from the rather cold demeanor, our drinks were forgotten — twice. Our waitress suddenly stopped coming to our table and preferred to stay inside, even though the terrace was full. What a pity! Amazing food and very accommodating to our large group, we arrived with no booking and they arranged a table for us inside as it was raining. The sicilian pizza fritta was fantastic, light and not greasy with a lot of generous fillings. Beautiful location, delicious food, friendly ❤️ glad I travelled across the globe to find this gem.
