We had to wait over half an hour, and when we were finally able to sit down, they didn't have enough menus, so we had to wait longer to just choose. Otherwise, everything was Ok; the food was good. The location wasn't exceptional (in the parking lot next to the cars), but on a busy day without reservations, it's normal for there to be no free space inside. This is surely one popular place even among locals. It’s famous for its good traditional Bulgarian Rhodope cuisine. The prices are good for such big and delicious portions and in such location. I uploaded photos and tried to add the names in Bulgarian and English to help out. Food can take longer but if you ask me it’s worth it. Like other reviews, I agree that the service needs to be improved. Popped in for coffee and dessert. The mekitsa (see photo) was exceptional, service was great, and it was cheap: just 13.50 lev for two coffees and two desserts. Highly recommended if you are passing through. Fantastic food, very reasonable prices, service was excellent - the host was friendly and funny. Cash payments only (no cards) and dogs not allowed inside. Definitely worth a visit and we will be back! A good place to stop for traditional Bulgarian food on the road between Plovdiv and Pamporovo. The food is delicious, the service is quick and polite. Do not miss out on the “mekitsi” - traditional pastry made of deep fried delicate dough and served with a choice of toppings - berry jam, white feta cheese, honey or chocolate! So yummy!!! Perfect place with a cozy and pleasant atmosphere. A great choice for a meal on the way to the Rhodope Mountains. There is a wide selection of traditional dishes for the region. The food arrives quickly, the staff is polite and friendly. The food portions are normal, so you can eat well. The prices are affordable. This place offers a great variety of local dishes. The staff is super friendly and you can easily communicate in English. The place is beautifully situated, between the green Holika next to the main road. Views are spectacular and so is the food. Highly recommended! The restaurant is very simple, family type, in the mountains..and cheap. What do you expect from the waitress? Of course she's not professional but have a look what kind of place this is before you start writing,please. You can't expect to be everything perfect and cheap,do you?
