Just went for a walk around the place and then to the cafe which was well stocked, food was delicious . Definitely recommend the homemade soup and bakery..Staff friendly, attentive. Cafe was spotless. Absolutely plenty of parking . It's rather a cold place so I would wrap up as it gets the wind from everywhere. We stayed at a lodge here and its a great set up and location. The lodge was immaculate with all modern fixtures and fittings. All the wee things you would forget are here, salt & pepper, cooking oil, shampoo & shower gel, hair drier, iron, it has it all! Can order take aways off all the usual apps and they will deliver right to where you're staying. All the lodges have WiFi and Netflix built into the TV. Hot tub is good with jets and lights. Can't say a bad thing about the place! Ordered our Christmas Dinner from here. One word......WOW! The portions are generous and the food itself delicious. A stress free Christmas, just what we love. We'll be ordering again next Christmas that's for sure. Highly recommend Another excellent site I visited while on my E-bike. Another cyclist gave it the nod. On this occasion I picked the wrong day. Apparently the café is shut every Monday. Guess when I visited. And I was choking for a nice latte. After getting over my disappointment I took a good look around. Beautiful place, plenty amenities. Lot's of anglers using the wee loch. The café and seating areas are top notch. There are even holiday pods overlooking the loch. The grounds are in excellent condition and everything is tidy. Large car park. Ideal for families and walking. awesome fishery for both fly and bait, the tackle shop is fantastic as well Went for lunch today after Shooting clays at Cowans Law.(also excellent) Fabulous light lunch. Delicious. Great place, lovely helpful staff and very informative! Delighted I caught my first ever fish! I would have caught more but I think it was down to my own error!! Can’t recommend enough and can’t wait to come again! Absolutely beautiful place, lodge's are immaculate and stunning. Will definitely be back Arran view bistro do a lovely afternoon tea and a great breakfast we got from the takeaway option. Highly recommend. Best fishery is Scotland.... wee Frank's a diamond..so knowledgeable and helpful, the regular anglers are friendly and supportive. Clean and tidy. Go and enjoy it👍 Stunning place to relax and unwind. Would highly recommend the pods! We'll equipped with everything you need and Graham (the host) was really welcoming and made sure we had anything we needed to make our stay perfect!
