Unfortunately I must have picked a bad time to visit. App wouldn't work and our was cancelled twice. The food was not hot but warm. Almost 35 from to food ready. Not the best review, as we normally never have an issue. Avoid! This McDs consistently gives very little french fries (half full or less) and there have been times the fries are burnt or over salted. is appalling, once waited 15min just for fries (and this was inside when not that crowded), just having a good old chin wag amongst themselves. I really don't like giving bad reviews but have given this McDs location a few chances, it's just rubbish. The one in the town centre is fine so unclear why this one is just so horrid. Once Again ordering a delivery from McDonalds where the Printed receipt in Black and White isn't checked and you get completely Wrong or missing items How hard is it to READ THE ITEMS ON THE RECEIPT AND CHECK THEM. Claimed it back not getting a penny Absolute waste of time, Try employing to check orders or a shift manager that is gonna do it Sit in closed at 12 however manager said me and my partner could stay for 15 till we ate, we were then informed by a lovely member they didn’t have my chicken nuggets, my vanilla milkshake. So they compensated me with items that i could eat with my allergies regardless of the cost, i got a med cola and a Chicken mayo instead happy customer. Until the comes out and says to myself and my partner and 2 other fellas “can yous all leave we finished at 12 we want home you all have to leave” which i replied “we were told by the manager we could have 15 and for the hassle i think i deserve to finish my burger” to which he then left went to his car and sat for 15 before moving. And was ignorant as he drove away. It is understandable he wanted home but the customer was not there and it was disgusting how this member treated customers. The food was good however lack of stock. This place is pretty decent when you go to the restaurant to eat it. I would STRONGLY suggest to NEVER get an Uber Eats/McDelivery from here though, as there is a chance the will not only be wrong, but it will take FOREVER to arrive. I ordered our meals and they took nearly 80 to arrive. I get it can be busy, but give people the chance to cancel if it's not even been started. The system is not fit for purpose and I will NEVER a McDelivery again Bloody shambles. NEVER GET DELIVERY. 5+ times i got delivery and every time something was wrong/missing: -missing sauces, -missings drink, -recieving salad instead of a burger, -being lactose intolerant they somehow cannot understand no cheese. It's clear the workers don't really care about deliveries. Can't comment on instore. It's just crap, restaurant can be empty but you'll still wait ten for your and even then it'll be wrong, fries and drinks never filled properly, you end up paying for a large but get a medium portion. Massive pot hole at the entrance, no apologies when they screw up your order. Absolutely terrible AVOID! however Kilmarnock McDonald's are alright Lazy incompetent, inattentive staff, total lack of service Sept 2025 • COUPLES We went in at 8.15am on Sept 23, there were 2 other couples and during our stay less than 12 takeaway customers. So they weren't busy. In the past the have always been welcoming, friendly and helpful, just like the adjacent Travelodge. Being oldies from a remote area we find the ordering machines a challenge, were always ready to meet greet and help on previous visits. Not this time. We managed to a table breakfast of bacon roll, bacon flatbread and 2 coffees. After 10 waiting we found our food, cold, dumped on the takeaway counter. Then the lackadaisical, idle teenager(?) behind the counter, who couldn't be bothered to wonder why our food had been lying there refused to serve a glass of tapwater. 'You'll have to buy a bottle and we've only got coke etc'. There's no point in spending money on makeovers if the won't provide basic levels of service. The bacon roll and coffee would have been good value if the had served them hot as they were supposed to, but obviously didn't read the properly or couldn't be bothered to bring it to our table despite the place being nearly empty Soggy fries, flavourless and got no dips, I had ordered 2 tomato dips with my nuggets, didint get them. I had ordered a salad and didint get my fork.. not even the balsamic vinegar that I had added on, was in the order. we asked for ice for our coke zero and oasis but again, the workers are lackluster and we didint get any. There are much better Mcdonald's around the area, so I don't think I'll be going back to this one even if I had to. TERRIBLE! DO NOT DELIVERY FROM HERE At this point I have been waiting over 2 hours for my to be delivered. I first phoned after 1 hour to be told by that the had not been accepted by a driver so they can’t make it yet. They had no idea when it would be delivered and said it’s out of their control because it’s JUST EAT. Spoke with SOPHIE after 2 hours who said she was a manager and she was totally disinterested, saying that we should try the help section on Just Eat as it’s nothing to do with them. She did confirm that there were many just eat drivers who had been there to collect other meals the last 2 hours but unfortunately not ours. CANCELLED AND WILL NEVER USE AGAIN 1 STAR because there wasn’t a ZERO STAR OPTION. Never have a problem with Just Eat at other establishments, but this place Always get the wrong. Doesn’t help when driver drives away before is checked. This has happened on numerous occasions.what was ordered to what was delivered.
