Truly a wonderful place. Great Ice Cream. Lots of climbing stuff for the kids. Beautiful Beach Came here today big free parking outside and on the Promenade. £6 for 2 hours good value there's an American theme diner inside some items on the menu looked but there is meal and entrance deals. definitely worth a visit if your in Ayr big outside to 👍 Overpriced when the nice weather comes out poor service from staff tables not clean and portions not good considering the large price. Surprised they don't charge you for looking or breathing the air. Out for a walk along Aye beach with my friend and stopped by for coffee and cake. Very nice. Friendly service and staff. 'Scoopalicious' next door is also part of Pirate Pete's. Absolutely dire that are quite easy to miss on the door as you walk in. £6 for two scoops, or you can walk round the corner to renaldos for two much nicer, much bigger, homemade scoops of ice cream, for less than £4.50. Kids loved it here while on hoilday we went back a couple of days later , were reasonable even for food and drink .food is amazing, immaculate x It’s ok but very expensive. £12 for 1 kid for play! £2 for a wee bottle of water. Airport prices. Folk must be minted. Not impressed, very entry, despite being first in tables were sticky. Overall Food & drink are & way off compared to other places. Charged me 70p for a shot of syrup in my coffee. We wont be back. Fab plenty for little ones and bouncers and jumperoos for babies, kids fish and chips looked amazing My kids love Pirate Pete's. It can be a little and the constantly changing can be annoying but they do have a good clean play. The food is really nice as well and that's saying something for a play. They have a little arcade section and usually offer face painting, they also just opened their own ice cream unit which the kids love and they offer party packages and just recently annual memberships for those of us who are always there. It's also the only where your not left queuing outside in the rain for 30 minutes. love this place. its so clean (unlike others in the area) and has a closed off baby and a really big toddler area. Ideal for young children. Has everything for a fun few hours. Food is good and an extensive menu on offer. Great fresh coffee and ice creams too. Staff are friendly and helpful even when it gets super busy and chaotic. There are 2 floors, upstairs, a bit calmer. Busy and noisy but still enjoyable even on a bank holiday. Just visited today with my 4 year old grandson and husband website stated £6 for child with 1 free adult and £1 for any additional adult which should have been £7 total but I was charged £12. Rip off Is fantastic for all ages , we use to go every year both of my sons have autism but was very disappointed in the boss! I explained to him that my oldest son has autism, he has no understanding of what it means by age appropriate for certain parts of areas! I was with my son at all times! The man was very harsh towards me with no compassion whatsoever, even the parents felt sorry for me and couldn’t believe the way he treated me son, and yes i do know that there is signs there for a reason as my youngest son was aware of the signs! but because my oldest son who has complex needs and no understanding of signs what so ever , the boss should have some kind of compassion And understanding! I never had any bother before in pirate Pete’s before as I did always explain to staff members and they were very good! food was very £6 for two slices of toast! Quite disappointed I don’t think I’ll go back! If you have kids this is a must. Great staff and owner are amazing. Very friendly and food prepared fresh it's delicious. Extremely clean can't recommend enough. Outrageously expensive, especially when compared with Kids in Prestwick, 2 miles away. £24 for two children to for 2 hours is iniquitous and I shan't be returning at those over-inflated prices. The food is also rather on the side. Go to Kids Prestwick instead.
