Stayed here a few times now & never had a bad stay. The staff are so attentive if you need anything at all. The are gorgeous & are always so clean & the staff are so friendly. My favourite get away. Highly recommend & will keep returning. Just home from a fantastic weekend at Crofthead with 4 my work colleagues. We booked here to celebrate mine and my colleague's special birthdays. Staff are very friendly and helpfu , they even took the time to decorate the lodge with balloons and banners for us. The lodge was beautiful, spotlessly clean as was the hot tub and decking area. We had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The are of a very high standard and very comfortable. We will definitely be looking to book again. Thank you once again Crofthead. Only down fall was service. We were asked to call and let the holiday park know if we will check in after 5pm. This is what I did and was told to call the number in email to get someone when we arrive and then the park will send someone down to check in. We arrived at 5.05pm. Call the number no reply. Kept trying. Other people arrived to check in. We eventually got someone in the sales team, who tried to get someone to check us in. Needless to say 50min later in the pouring rain we eventually got checked in. Not a great first impression. First time staying at this park. I have to say we all had a great time after this. Lodge was lovely. Hot tub was good. Beautifully maintained, peaceful and well-located site and the 3 bedroom static we stayed in was lovely and had every amenity we needed including a large decking area, smart TV and good WiFi. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the on-site play area is brilliant for young children. Would definitely come again. Booked to stay here as a last minute getaway and it was absolutely beautiful are massive and spaced out so you don’t get the noise from the other everything was well equipped from washing machine to Dish washer Hot tub and decking were exceptional. The hot tub was absolutely roasting each morning and throughout the day kids loved it Rooms where massive and loved the fact that the kids bedroom was not next to ours so no noise and could relax The beds where extremely comfortable And the lodge was clean warm and tidy when we arrived Staff where friendly and so accommodating and happy to help when ever needed also They have a little shop in reception that sells juice sweets rolls and breakfast things and reasonably priced aswell We will definitely be booking again a really lovely staycation but with a few slight problems! The lodge is beautiful, very spacious and hot tub is great! The only downfall i would say is the lack of essentials provided. I can understand not providing towels but there isn’t even any hand towels in kitchen or bathroom which resulted in an Asda trip for some towels. There is also no hand wash, fairy liquid, foot towels, dish clothes, antibacterial spray. Although saying that, there is a washing machine and dishwasher with a few pods provided but the other missing essential items did become a bit of problem. For example, coming in and out of the shower and the hot tub, the floor was getting absolutely soaking, trying to clean up mess in the kitchen from cooking but there was no spray / wipes / kitchen roll / dish clothes. This is the only issue that we appeared to have all weekend. I would definitely return but just be more mindful of all things i would need to provide to make my stay more enjoyable. The view was tranquil, rooms spacious and clean and the location was super close to whatever we needed. Really modern and peaceful. Only improvement would be for the site to stock the cupboards with a few more essentials as you get very minimal cooking utensils, plates and no tea bags/ sachets of sugar for when you first arrive. We will definitely be returning!
