I had a stop over at Auchterarder visiting my friends en route to Avimore. My friends took me out to the Golf Club for dinner. The menu at the club has great variety, and the cuisines reaf out to be amazing. However, the menu is very limited for vegetarians. They have a Indian section as well, which has some amazing curries from all parts of India. As I am a vegetarian and I cook a lot of curry's for my friends and they recommended that I should try some of the curry's at the club. I couldn't find a suitable option, so I asked if I could meet the chef and make a request. Mr. Mandeep, the head chef, met me and heard my request to create a vegetarian cuisine for me and suggested what he would cook. I loved the food, the taste took me back to India, the fragrance of spices, balanced the curry in such a way that it felt eating back at home. I recommend this club and Mandeeps kitchen. This is probably one of the most enjoyable golf course to play at a reasonable price, £40 pounds. The course was in perfect condition with some of the best fairways and greens I have been on. Friendly staff, great food served in the clubhouse. All in all worth a visit I don't think anyone will be dissapointed. What a cracking golf course that lives in the shadow of gleneagles . Great condition and some really tricky holes , pro super friendly as well!! 5/5 Played in the open competition today 18th may which was brilliantly organised and the course was presented in a glorious condition the greens where exceptional and the fastest I've played on thus year 11 on stint a big shout out to Head green keeper Sean & his team👏👏👏 Had a great round at Auchterader. Course was in really good order and is a good challenge. Great wee course ..... greens are difficult to read .. challendeling .. love the day and views... well worth the visit.. friendly people... Will be back defo.. Great golf course in amazing condition, Great staff who are very helpful.
