The service was friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. But the real highlight was the beef stew with gnocchi… absolutely speechless. Rich, flavorful, and comforting in every bite. You can tell it’s made with care. I’ll definitely be coming back! We popped in for lunch after being out for a dog walk. Great atmosphere and the Kitkstyle Pie was out of this world! Never seen such large chunks of meat in a pie before. We'd been for an evening meal earlier this year, it was good to see the same quality served at lunch time too. Will definitely go back. What an absolute gem of a place! We phoned at very short notice to see if there was any availability for us to come have a meal. Not only were we fitted in and given exceptional food, but we were blown away by how understanding and accommodating she was with our reactive dog, ensuring we were given a lovely secluded table upstairs and checking with us to make sure he was doing OK. It's so difficult to eat out when away with him that to have a delicious and stress free meal was one of the highlights of our whole holiday! Can't speak highly enough of how welcome we were made to feel, I would absolutely recommend anyone try this place if you're in the area, else you are really missing out on something special! The work that Jamie and the team have put into the Kirkstyle Inn is amazing. From the decor and ambience to the food and service, it is fantastic. Food is fresh and delicious with lots of choice.
