Always a good place to visit if you like older cars. Many of the exhibits are displayed as as they arrived condition including barn finds rather than being restored that adds reality to them. Helpful and interesting dotted about. Good one for a rainy day. A hidden gem of a place for anyone interested in and motorcycles. We literally tripped over its location while visiting Caister for other reasons. Included as part of the whole Caister Castle site when you pay admission. The admission is a little steep at £20 per adult but was worth it for us. Lots of knowledgeable around to explain and vhelp. Facilities, however, are basic but clean toilet blocks and a small Tearoom offering drinks and snacks. No shop on site, or we didn't see it. Friendly staff, excellent of different vehicles. Friendly tea room staff. Castle Tower is high and great to climb up, although I admit I bottled it at the very last few steps. Great place to visit. Small but lovely Castle but the main draw is the large of housed in a purpose built building. Well laid out and numerous helpful on hand to answer your questions about any of the vehicles which are all owned by one private collector. Well worth a visit. Tearooms on site for a coffee/ tea and cake Lovely little place. Nice of ect. Lovely, friendly who also said there is planning for more to come in the future. Also went to the castle, great views. Lovely grounds too. Plenty of seating for my old dad. Shame there isn't a gift shop but recommended going and will return at some point. Such an amazing place hidden away! I’ve visited the area for years and was born in Yarmouth but found this by complete chance. Entry fee made me wonder if it was going to be worth it (£20 per adult) but wow was it. The tour guides were really knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The were just out of this world! Classic Hill Lotus F1, speed six, 328, old school sl300 gullwing. It took me, on my own, about 1.5-2hrs to walk around whilst getting photos and talking to the guides and I pretty much skipped passed the motorcycle section. Next time I’d take a picnic to sit in the grounds with but the tea room was good for some simple refreshments. Absolutely recommend this to everyone! Great place to visit both for the castle tower and vehicle collection, so lucky that a private collector has invested their time and money to preserve the past for all. The are brilliant, friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the of vehicles, would highly recommend to anyone who likes history of vehicles upto to 90's Reasonable car with quite an eclectic and interesting mix of vehicles (car and bike). The castle is essentially 4 (3 and a bit?) partial walls and a tower you can climb which does have good views across the area but how it copes during busy periods with people attempting to go up and come down the spiral staircase at the same time is a mystery. Disappointingly expensive for what is there and there's no concessions for the disabled or carers either. Gravel paths are almost impassable in a wheelchair (I had to tilt my wife in hers to run only on the back wheels as the fronts 'dug in'). Appreciate this is a private but Beaulieu offers better value for money with a larger and bigger grounds to walk around. Great place, brilliant staff. The only reason not to give 5 stars was a surprising lack of a gift shop? I was hoping for a sticker for my van or something but the only things they sell are postcards and that is it. What a fantastic display for me it was the best day of our holiday.all are spotless and your very nolageable and very polite.shameyou haven't got one like mine Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
