Lovely Loch Nice path all the way round about 12miles. Few places of interest while goin round and couple of cafes. Went on a charity round here. 12 mile course it was immaculate lovely views. Pretty flat and lots to see as you go round. Its signposted really well suggested time is around five hours you can comfortably do it in four with a stop there is two cafes as well and a bar at the end of the course. It would be suitable to cycle round if you preferred. I completed it in three hours with no stop in September I reckon during the summer you would need some insect spray. Beautiful loch it's huge but stunning lots of points of interest.has cafe and shop also public toilets at beginning of Didn't spend much time here, but enjoyed what time we had. Not the prettiest of lochs. Nice views over the loch and a pleasant around. Pity the boathouse isn't open, would have been great to have had a coffee looking out over the beautiful landscape. Great place to dog and fantastic views while walking and keeping fit . Never tire of the surrounding nature and lake. Recommend to all Great location for a day out, plenty space for walking and socialising. Good car parking facilities, but can get busy early on nice days. Well maintained path all the way around the Loch, approx 21k but well worth it and is mainly on the flat. Plenty information boards around the Loch telling you about the wildlife and what not to do etc. A fantastic place to hike or just visit and sit by the waterside. You can the entire perimeter, although it is 12 miles so expect it to take a few hours at least. Lots of wildlife and different terrains to explore. Sadly the water quality in the Loch is quite poor due to pollution and so it is not safe for swimming. There is blue green algae too, so I wouldn't recommend letting your dog in it, either. If you love nature, this is one of the places to be at. Really great views and walk. Just refreshing Don’t forget to visit castle Quite simple a place of natural beauty. Wasn't the brightest of days but my son and i thoroughly enjoyed a cycle right round the Loch. A couple of quite steep sections but majority is very flat and easy, great for walking, cycling etc. niesamowite Great day out if you like views and walking. Part of the is within the RSPB reserve a bonus for bird watchers. There is a cafe and shop there as well as other walks of varying difficulty. The full walk, which is also a cycle path, is approximately 12 miles long, however, there are shorter walks. Loch leven also has a boat trip (Historic Scotland) out to Leven Castle. Cafe also at Kinross end of loch beside the small harbour. Very relaxing, lots of stuff to explore, and just a perfect place to take a walk. Burger king is nearby and that's cool. Good memories made here. Wunderbar ruhiger Ort mit kleinem uralten Friedhof und der Burg auf der Insel im See. Malerisch!
