Went to a there that had a potions show in a cottage within the centre. The also had their meal in the cottage. quaint not too big, wooden theme, very clean, new things, nice staff. not massive but nice. love the little wooden houses and centres. better for smaller kids than teenagers. Nice little place, doesn't have loads of stuff but easy to spend a couple of hours in. Shame the hut and couple of the buildings are padlocked and not open. Booked online and pretty cheap for just £6 a table (for 4 people including 1 child place), and get a 2 hour slot. Well after visiting this place I certainly wouldn't recommend this to anyone. I don't like to write bad reviews but I was truly disappointed with our first time experience there. Absolutely disappointing!! Came here for the first time booked and paid online for a table based on upto 4 people as per it's guidelines. I went with my partner, my 19month toddler and 6 week old baby. Paid £7. Upon arrival we had to fill a clipboard out with how many kids. The not so cheerful member on Sunday 16th Feb, said I had to pay £1.50 for my 6 week old!! I said your price is based on 4 people online and he's just a baby. I have no problem paying if stated clearly in your terms, or if the child was an appropriate age to even benefit from the soft play. Despite we also paid extra for coffees she still made us pay for my baby. Then.. you had to sit on very small table and chairs where you have to bend because they crammed so many seats and tables in such a tight space that they clearly had to use smaller furniture. There's very little space for prams to navigate around the tables so don't bring them, best in sling or toddler only play. We arrived for 10am in the morning and it's in a warehouse. It was absolutely freezing. Very poor heating. The toilet facilities were dirty and only one baby changing room. Incredibly disappointing and we travelled from Newport to then only ended up staying for one hour as we were too cold. Shame, the place has potential if given the appropriate customer service, adequate heating and sufficient spacing so you don't feel so crammed. The positives. Plenty of parking that's free, coffee was nice and the woodwork was very cute but we won't be coming again nor recommending it to my mama group. Our little one had an amazing 2nd birthday here today. He loved every minute playing and the was awesome. Thank you so much for everything and highly recommend this magical venue to everyone. Special thank you to Anastasia and mr for everything today. We went here with our grandaughter over Easter and had a fantastic time. There was extra fun and excitement provided by the Easter Bunny and an Easter egg hunt with prizes. The place is put together with great imagination, and obviously done by people who really care about and understand children. As well as the great softplay areas, there are little bridges, tunnels and nooks to explore with reading areas or kitchens in them. The are - really friendly and very helpful. I've read a couple of reviews where people don't like the low seating and tables...but in my view these are ideal for adults and to sit on/at as long as you watch they don't grab your hot drinks - but this is something you'd always expect to do with small around anyway. The booking system ensures it's not too busy. Our hot chocolate was delicious. I would recommend taking a jumper, as it can feel a bit cool when you first arrive, but once you start running around with the children, you soon warm up. A really magical place...and the best softplay experience we've ever had. Highly recommend. Absolutely brilliant, but the are the best part. It’s a beautiful with reading nook, toddlers and larger climbing frame with slide. Kids loved it. The couldn’t do enough for you and were really understanding when one of my had an accident. Will be back again soon. 6th birthday - had a fantastic time with a showing them magic and mixing potions. The had a brilliant fantasy-land theme that really elevates it above the other soft plays I've visited. were friendly as well, can't wait to visit again! Such a my 2 and 3 year old loved it. Clean and stunning to look at would have loved to go while the was there so we will definately be returning for that x Booked a small for our little boy today and it was wonderful. were so helpful and polite, beforehand and on the day. We've been to Poppelwood a few times and always enjoy. It's such a soft play/role with a twist, especially for younger kids. Our consisted of ages between 1-5yrs and it was perfect for them all. little baby section and an older soft area, although our little boy is 2 and the bigger is safe enough for him to go around by himself. The best is the forest/fairy houses which have a reading nook and a kitchen. It's very cute and well thought out. Decent food and fair prices. We already can't wait to come again. Thank you ladies for making our afternoon really memorable. Had my daughter's 5th birthday here today. It was excellent! Poppelwood has a lovely, chilled environment as you arrive. The have everything organised and running very smoothly (though are very hard to get hold of for any communication leading up to the party), the entertainment was amazing and the kids loved it. So different to your ordinary soft experience. They've gone to so much effort with the setting and equipment. Really magical!
