Second here - the cabins are warm and cosy with lots of thoughtful touches. Comfy beds. Spotlessly clean and the self check-in is super easy. Kids loved the fire pit, we'll definitely be back! This is such a place! The cabins are warm and toasty and the beds are exceptionally comfortable. Well equipped kitchens and bathrooms. Perfect for outdoor activities or pottering around local towns. Really well thought out like the wash station. place and extremely accommodating hosts! Cannot recommend it enough. The lodges themselves are spot on, quiet location even though it’s close to the town. The other are great, nice touch with the hike wash and maintenance station. If you’re in the area to ride bikes and there are a few of you then book The Roost A pleasant night's stay. The compound was very secure, the room was very warm and cozy and the bed was comfortable. The perfect spot for reaching Park Wales, but also right on the Taff Trail so for walkers too. Over all we thought it was excellent value for money. Drying room is a addition too (You are in wales after all). Communication was giving us key information on arrival and departure and any questions we needed to ask. Super friendly and responsive hosts who really went out of their way to make my as easy and nice as possible. The cabins are great, ideal for mountain bikers or others getting outdoors. The shower and bathroom are probably the cleanest and nicest of their kind I've ever used. I'll be back for sure! Absolutely amazing experience, can't wait to return! Perfect way to spend a couple of wet and windy nights when visiting Park Wales. The was so cosy and warm, plus the drying in the room in the dedicated were really handy. Amazing setting - peaceful & lots of birds to see on the feeders dotted around the place. Tidy, well equipped area - with seating for 4. BBQ & fire pit, with all the bits you need in the on-site 'shop' - including marshmallows! Showers are hot & reliable. Bike wash is excellent & also storage for 2 bikes in cabin. We have had a wonderful - can't recommend it enough. Stayed at this wonderful hidden gem for a couple of nights in the camper van (with hook-up) after Park Wales and for a day out in the Brecon Beacons. The were perfectly clean and ready for my use (designated and bathroom). The wash with supplies was a lovely touch. Will definitely be back. Thanks. little place to stay, clean and tidy, with lovely little areas to sit and relax after a day of riding. Only a short ride to Park Wales, with for cleaning bikes. Pizza oven was great, and made short work of a couple of pizzas I picked up, just remember to bring matches, though I have recommended they be added to the little 'shop'. We had a wonderful 2 night at the roost. The Rooms are comfy and the has everything you need. Felt really secure and safe - will be back. As a returning customer it's always a treat to at The Roost. Clean and organised with everything that you need for a weekend away biking. We'll be back next time we're in the area. Absolutely amazing place. We spend two nights with kids. They love double bunk beds, fireplace in the evening, little shop too 😁👍 stunning Mountain View’s straight from the cabin. Very clean and showers, looks like everything new. Highly recommend for family, couples or friends. Owners very friendly. A simply superb hidden gem within a 10 minute cycle ride to Park Wales. The oweners are super friendly and even provide a full wash station with 'muck off' products FOC alongside a full servicing station with tools included. The washroom and and camping pods are very well appointed and kecpt really clean. Thank you I stayed here with my son for 3 nights while visiting Park Wales. It was a lovely place to stay. Comfortable with a private shower and camp (both separate to the cabin). The site is peaceful with lots of foliage, and is secure for bikes. There’s a bit of road noise during the day but that’s not the end of the world. It’s about 15 mins by to BPW. We never met Kath, but she was in touch by text around arrival and departure, and was very friendly. Fantastic camper van pitch at the Roost. Private bathroom and outdoor were just right, and the location is ideal for a day’s riding at Park Wales. We WILL be back. Stayed here in a campervan spot for 3 nights, whilst visiting BPW. Felt safe and secure, easy enough to access without missing face2face meeting owners, really good welcome pack emailed which I wish I’d read earlier in the trip. Shower room spacious enough for some storage. Honesty box well stocked but not used by us. Drying room really helpful as the weather was typically wet for wales! Hard standing and good paths made area accessible even in the poor weather. Babbling brook helps to counteract the nearby road noise. Good enough that we’ll be planning a return trip…..
