I've given this place 2 stars because I've been here 3 times and nor been able to get what I wanted. First time they'd stopped serving at 2220 on a Sunday. Second time they hadn't started serving food at 1140 on a Monday morning. The third time I've come on a the same Monday evening. I ordered a pint of carlsberg which was ridiculous in price. Nearly £2 cheaper a mile away. Anyway my pint was disgusting which I mentioned as soon as I tasted it. The said its the end of the barrell so gave me a new pint from a new barrell which was disgusting so I asked if I could change to a carling which they said was fine but I seriously couldn't drink it. It was rank. I dont know if the lines need cleaning but I drink a lot of pints and there's something not right in here. Our local when we visit the in-laws. Always and helpful and good food. Reliable offerings that are decently priced. Tonight the chef was even willing to customize some things for us and even came out to chat to us. Always a good time to be had here! Totally amazing experience from start to finish. Food Was on point and fair priced. and welcoming staff. Already planning next visit. Favourite thing.... a book swap shop. Fast service delicious food definitely vist again. When you go for a quiet pint and you meet the owner who happens to be a Welsh Rugby Legend. There were 8 off us, as we were having a birthday meal. And the were really polite and respectful. The food was amazing. I will be definitely coming back soon and telling my friends and family to go here. The were nice but the food was awful. I took the meat home for my dog and she wouldn't eat it! We eat at a lot of Marston pubs, but this was by far the best. Food lovely, and helpful, and pub itself great. We will be back!! Me and my friends always really enjoy visiting The Red Dragon. Such a atmosphere in a really beautiful pub and the food has always been delicious. are approachable, polite and always interact so well with guests.
